Mr Chan Chong Wey has more than 23 years of audit experience of which 21 years audit experience was with Deloitte PLT Malaysia, one of the Big 4 firms in Malaysia.
He is currently the managing audit partner under the audit firm, CW Chan & Co and a partner in GW & Co (formerly known as Siti Haliza & Associates).
Prior to the relocation to Deloitte Headquarter in Kuala Lumpur, he was based in Deloitte Johor Branch and acting as the audit lead in Deloitte PLT Johor Branch from 2011 to 2018.
He was a Key Audit Partner since 2011 in the audits of multinational and public listed companies in BURSA Malaysia and NASDAQ US, and was involved in IPO Projects.
He was involved in financial statements audit in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States of America (US GAAP), SOX 404 Compliance and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
He was also involved as the Engagement Quality Control (EQC) Partner for public listed companies and other major clients.
