For the last decades, he has been a private advisor to a high profile businessman in Malaysia. Prior to that he was a corporate advisor for a local conglomerate in Kuala Lumpur, advising on high-profile projects such as government initiated projects, infrastructure projects and etc.
He started his career in 1980 as junior engineer with Advanced Micro Devices (Penang) Inc. a Multi-national Semiconductor Corporation in Silicon Valley USA. He then worked with the Regional Marketing & Research Team of a Multi-national Company, Encore Computer Inc. USA based in Hong Kong and Malaysia covering Asia Pacific & Middle East including Australia and New Zealand.
He spent several years consulting and promoting Alternatives Mainframes System to Government, Multi-national Corporations and University in the region.
After completing Entrepreneurial Management in Canada, he then ventured into ICT and after several years of managing ICT companies he entered into Management Consulting with Innovation Associates a Cap Gemini Ernst and Young strategic partner involved in Business Development and then moved into Strategic management. He was involved in the consolidation of ICT in a large Conglomerate in Malaysia. He contributed towards the development and implementation of strategies at group of companies.
He also spent a great part of his career in Technology Business Development and Programme Management in Government and Corporations in the region.
By nature an entrepreneur then management consulting, he also has been working with Ansoff Associate International based in Singapore and his European Associates to help companies apply Strategic Technology Management to optimise their competitiveness and profitability.
