Mr Kenny Chin was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer of Divfex Berhad (formerly known as Diversified Gateway Solutions Berhad) ("Divfex") on 10 August 2020. He has more than 20 years of working experience across a range of industries relevant to lead Divfex Group.
He started his career in Cable & Wireless Hong Kong Telecom in 2000 and soon became the youngest Customer Service Manager in REACH Limited, a joint venture undersea cable entity, owned by Pacific Century CyberWorks (PCCW-HKT), Hong Kong & Telstra, Australia. He then moved on to a short stint with Compass Strategic Advisory Sdn Bhd as a manager, and then to BWW-WSF Sdn Bhd, an exhibition/events management company as Senior Manager. In 2009, he took on the role of Senior Manager in PT Bank Central Asia Tbk ("BCA"), the largest privately-owned bank in Indonesia. At BCA, he was tasked to develop, set up and grow its Malaysian operations. Mr Kenny went on to work as a Senior Manager with CIMB Investment Bank to develop a proprietary payment system regionally. This is followed by a regional position in regulatory compliance in 2015 with MoneyGram, a major global remittance company. His last role since 2018 was as the Chief Executive Officer of Numoni DFS Sdn Bhd in Malaysia, a remittance and e-money issuer licensee of Bank Negara Malaysia.
