Mr. Kuan Vin Seung has been Hartalega's Chief Human Resource Officer since 2020 and previously held the position of Director of Human Resources ("HR") from 2009.
He was responsible for Hartalega's entire spectrum of human capital management, including employer branding, talent acquisition, performance and rewards, people engagement and wellness, talent management, as well as industrial relations and social compliance. For the past 10 years, he was also involved in the external and internal HR branding exercise.
In addition, he oversaw Hartalega's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and Yayasan Hartalega. He was also the Chairman of Hartalega's ESOS Committee.
He possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Accounting & Finance) from Monash University, a CPA certification from CPA Australia and a MBA (Merit) from the Manchester Business School, UK.
Having joined Hartalega in 2001, after working for 3 years in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services (AABS) Department of Ernst & Young, KL, he was exposed to operations and HR. He subsequently headed the HR department from 2004 where he initiated a HR Transformation program in 2010. The program resulted in the implementation of various modernised people practices required to support the growth of Hartalega.
He is also currently a Vice-Chairman of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Selangor & KL Branch since 2019, and Chairman of the FMM Kuala Selangor Regional Committee since 2011.

His uncle, Mr. Kuan Kam Hon @ Kwan Kam Onn and his cousins, Mr. Kuan Mun Leong and Mr. Kuan Mun Keng are members of the Board in Hartalega Holdings Berhad. His father, Mr. Kuan Kam Peng is a major shareholder in Hartalega Holdings Berhad.

He has direct interest of 24,234,200 ordinary shares in Hartalega Holdings Berhad.
