Low Ngai Yuen is multiple award winning and she runs 3 NGOs: CEO for Global Entrepreneurship Movement Association, GEMA that enables market access for new technology and innovation; President for the 20 year old Kakiseni that champions the arts and its advocacy; as well as being the Founding President of WOMENgirls, an NGO dedicated to remind women as role models to younger girls to achieve their potentials. GEMA also features eFM.live, a resource platform for all things entrepreneurship with live streaming and podcasts and eMag.live, an online magazine featuring entrepreneurs as role models. In 2008, she joined the French multinational retailer Carrefour Malaysia & Singapore as their Marketing and Communications Director to revitalize its brand worldwide and customer-experience becomes her next focus. She was instrumental in developing traditional mom-and-pop stores for modern retail during the Program Transformasi Kedai Runcit. Known also as an acclaimed film producer, director and TV veteran, Yuen is also an active member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia; is an Independent Non-Executive Director on the board of GDEX Berhad, and is on its Audit & Risk Management Committee as well as the Combined Nomination and Remuneration Committee. GDEX Berhad is an express carrier that provides logistic services for the domestic and international market.
