Ms. Tan began her career as an audit assistant at Binder Hamlyn before embarking on a tenure of over 20 years at Public Bank Berhad, where she held various roles in credit related departments. She served as the Deputy Director of Corporate Banking at Public Bank Berhad before transitioning to Health Scan (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a leading medical and diagnostic centre, where she assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer in 2004. In 2017, following the integration of HealthScan into Cardiac Vascular Sentral (Kuala Lumpur) Sdn. Bhd., an integrated cardiac vascular hospital, her role was re-designated as the Director of HealthScan.
