Mr Pook Kim Nyean began his career in 2008 as an Auditor with Crowe Malaysia, where he was involved in providing direction to team members on multiple audit assignments ranging from planning to completion and reporting of audit opinion for medium and listed corporation in various industries. He left Crowe Malaysia in August 2017 when he was Audit Senior Manager and joined Uzma Berhad as a Financial Controller, where he was responsible for all the corporate exercise, annual report and relevant reports for board meeting. He also in-charge for group conso accounting activities for holding company and subsidiaries in Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines.
He left Uzma Berhad in September 2020 and joined AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad as Head of Finance, where he was responsible for preparation of financial reporting, Bursa announcement, monthly, quarterly and annual accounts. He also responsible for the preparation analysis of financial and management reports.
He joined Software One in December 2021 as Head of Finance after he left AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad. He was responsible to maintain financial control of the Company's activities in compliance with legal and statutory requirements to ensure financial data integrity and accuracy to enable management decision making. He also responsible for the finance department development and implementation of plans for effective accounting and financial plans policies, strategies and objectives.
