Investment in the stock market is all about holding power. If you have the holding power then you can outlast those who don't have. Of course if you choose shit stocks like most of the penny shares then you can be buried alive.

The guy who recently bought that big block of shares at RM2.40 each must have shit in his brains if he allows the price to drop to either RM1.20 or RM0.40.
Or the short sellers have wet dreams on the prices dropping to those levels.
Looks like common sense is not that common anymore these days.

If one cannot tell green from red then he/she must be colour blind....need to check his eye or else it will be red again tomorrow when the price goes up.

Who can share the list of the 30 largest shareholders of Comfort Gloves? I m not used to searching for this info. It would be interesting to know who the 30 largest shareholders of Comfort.

For the Lau family to control Comfort and only paying RM2.40 per share is a steal. I must say JP Morgan has done the Lau family a big favour.

Hope the Lau family does some interesting corporate restructuring to Comfort which get investors excited.

I strongly believe the Lau family will do some magic to Comfort. He has many investor followers.

It is unlikely that the Lau family will just sit and watch the short sellers at work causing the share price to slide especially when they have paid so much for that block plus those bought from the open market. Surely it is in their interest to reverse the trend. They are seasoned businessmen and they surely know what they are in for.

You can never tell if the real buyer is actually one of those has been shorting the shares and it is so attractively low that it is time for them to buy a big block and then start to push the price up to sell and make money along the way.
Hope this will give everyone peace of mind.

Shld look at the disposal with optimism. Why shld the buyer of that block of shares pay RM2.40 if he is not confident of selling it off higher than the price he paid for it. The total consideration is not a small sum. With this in mind sure many of us can sleep well tonight!!

Now only the small short sellers are around. The big and cleverer ones have gone out of sight. They know that they cannot make much by selling at this price.
Very soon all of the smaller ones will disappear into the thin air too. This is sheer common sense.

Comfort has the lowest PE multiple compared with the rest. That is why it is green when most of them incl Top G and Supermax are in the red last few sessions.

At RM2.20 ewth PE 4 the price cannot stay that low for long time. Buy buy buy and you will laugh all the way to the bank

Looks like Comfort will close RM2.30 - RM2.40 today.

When the valuation is too low like PE multiple of 4, there is no incentive for short sellers to come in. They will only short sell the shares when the share is over-valued.

Those who still short sell Comfort shares are likely to be those who do not know what they are doing.

Those who believe glove is a sunset business are likely to be those who cannot tell sunrise from sunset or differentiate day from night.

Obvioulsy they are pushing it up now. Easy for them to push up to RM3 cos unlikely to have people shorting Comfort at this price level.

Perhaps we shld give Newkid the benefit of doubt that he was just sharing details of his transactions and not trying to show off.

Now PE just below 5. It can easily have PE 6 which means it can easily go up to RM2.90. Price too low for people to short it. They are buying instead.

I told you so. Comfort price was unrealistically low.

The EPS for the last ( 2020) financial year waa 27 cents, giving a PE ratio of 7 ( based on today's price). The results coming out anytime now will show EPS of abt 48 cents ( my estimate). That means the PE multiple will drop to abt 4 only.

That is bloody low PE multiple. I doubt there will be short-sellers at this price. Likely to see the price coming up again soon.

If you are a trader you may sell it and buy back, hopefully, at a lower price.

As a long term investor i have a different view. I bought into this counter early 2020 with part of my semi-retirement fund. I sell bit by bit every month to pay for my household expenses.

I prefer to manage my money this way than to open s savings acct where the interest rate is pathetic.

If Greatec continues to grow and the share price continues to go up then this fund can pay for my living expenses over a much longer period.

I very much doubt Greatec price will drop much even if there is a sector correction. I just have this strong feeling that Greatec's growth over next 2-3 years will be very impressive. The revenue growth may be 100-200% over the next 36 months. I have reasons to believe that the company is moving in that direction.

Tks newbie2y. I noticed a few times when a dept head or director acquires shares in the company, the share price will soon go up quite significantly. When Koay's acquisition was announced, the share price was RM6.00. That was just 2 days ago.

Now RM6.32. High of RM6.34

Who is this person Koay Lin Lin in Greatec? A director or departmental head?

What i have written and suggested is beyond the ordinary stock market investors but you have to be able to think at that level in order to beat the market.

The local research houses may not be able to see beyond what the mgt disclosed to them.

Investors shld try to see beyond that. Perhaps making our own assessment as to how the mgt intends to develop and expand its business over the next 2-3 years. This would help us assess its TPs

This will help investors to feel if the company is growing in a big way in the future, bearing in mind that Greatec is a young company... a virgin company, i would put it.

I am very sure Mr Tan would not share all his plans for Greatec with the research houses now. It is too premature. But this info will help us to better assess its future share prices.

I m very sure the operators and major shareholders have been buying from panic sellers last 1-2 months. Soon they will push it up to sell. The operators not only want to make money from the business operations but also from the trading of the shares.

There are so many reports confirming that the global demand for gloves will exceed supply for the next 2-3 years. So what is there to worry about? There is so much money for the glove companies to make. This shld translate into higher share prices. Only those who don't know what they are buying into are worried.
Many greedy people want to make money buy they are worried...... this and that.

Stock market is all about holding power and waiting game. So if you have stepped on some shit, but if have that two you are still able to keep youself alive.
If you have a diversified portfolio things will not look very bad. That is the nature of stock market investments. Have to get used to stepping on shits from time to time.

Greatec was a top performer during the Rat year and i strongly believe it will put up another remarkable performance in the Ox year. Have another exciting year!!

Pls ignore the conversion part of my write-up. The explanation i got was not clear and thinking it is similar to the normal warrant WA, WB etc. Anyway i shall just trade on it.

I was extremely lucky to have spotted Greatec when it was trading at RM2.75 ( before ex-bonus) back in Feb 2020.

At the rate the mgt is developing the business, i m not at all surprised by the time the 1st qtr of Dec21 results are out, the mother share would have hit RM8.50. And with that CA wld will double to 38 cents from today's close of 18.5 cents.

We are lucky that Greatec is run by a bunch of good and capable people.

I expected the CA to move but since. t did not move i bought more today.

CA prices will depend on the mother price. The higher the mother price, the higher will be the price of CA.

So if the mother price is expected to go up then the CA will follow.

If you feel good about the mother share then it is good to buy the CA. The risk is that the CA expires end of Nov 2020. But you have the right to convert the CA into mother shares.

Over the last 29 yrs of my trading in convertible warrants like CA i did not convert the warrants into mother shares..i.just trade on them and sell them before the expiry date.

For those who believe Greatec mother share will move upwards ( which msny here do, it makes sense to buy Greatec CA. The return ( % form) on the investment is much higher than the mother share. This is due to the gearing effect. Last Thursday i bought it at 16.5 cents and 20 cents was done this morning. The high on Friday was 22 cents.

If the mother goes up from RM6.50 ( now) to RM7.50 ( up abt 15.3%) , then

CA likely to move up to 31 cents ( up abt 50% from the current price of 20 cents). The premium is based on what was observed last few days.
