today IRIS proven have big player collect ticket. strong support at 0.40. today no more sell down because downside is very limited and small player not going to panic sell for them to play sell early buy back later intraday profit.. so we can see it hardly drop below 0.40 already. now we need to hold tight and collect more and lets see the chart forming rebound then we shall win this round.

iris is already a well example of government related counter. so it cant be easily replace unless the government have big reshuffle. my rule 3 :

today is a obvious banker play sell and buy back before closing to win intraday. they trying to make contra player leave. we retailer have to gather our force not to sell it easily ! we can see full support any price below 0.40, and I know the banker wont throw further already because we are smart as well ! you throw lower than 0.40 then we eat all up !

well, you don have to worry about trs generate how much revenue. its consider as an extra bonus to iris earning, they have others business. and not to forget that if iris manage to grab such project, they might able to grabs more similar project. another things is their partner have relationship dealing with alibaba. next time high chance online sales at malaysia also need gst refund, and it will manage by them as well. online sales will be another big income. iris long term, for sure good deal. they doing right thing at right timing. green tech, housing and others. :)

godspeed, have you see custom change their e passport and other custom solution change to other company? such things once implement its required some cost to developed and people do working on it, imagine the stuff train to collect gst fund, tiba tiba change company and fire all stuff. no joke man..without any big issue custom will not simply change other company do. So it can almost consider as a long long term contract already :).

Iris gets GST tourist refund job
Technology firm Iris Corp Bhd has set another ball rolling in the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) after securing a RM155.0m job to refund foreign tourists who shop here. The company is the sole refund agent for the Tourist Refund Scheme.The company said for example, tourists who spend RM20,000.0 on shopping will be refunded 6.0%, or RM1,800.0, and Iris will earn 15.0% from it. The contract is for three years with an option to extend by another two years. Iris said its wholly-owned subsidiary Information Technology Systems Sdn Bhd will implement the job in partnership with Switzerland’s Global Blue SA. (Business Times)

Confirming what has already been widely speculated, Iris Corporation announced the securing of the contract as a GST refund agent to foreign tourists from Jabatan Kastam DiRaja Malaysia with an investment amount of RM155.1m. The project will be undertaken in collaboration with Global Blue S.A., a Swissbased company with know-how and proprietary information and which will hold a 49% stake in the joint venture, of which both parties will be paid an administrative fee of 15%. With some parties anticipating government coffers to improve by between RM5-8bn from the implementation of GST, this 15% could possibly translate to about RM178m just based on retail expenditure alone of RM19.8bn last year. Total tourism receipts were in excess of RM60bn last year.
