PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN KAB, REPRESENTING UP TO 10% OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ISSUED SHARES IN KAB (EXCLUDING TREASURY SHARES, IF ANY) ("PRIVATE PLACEMENT")

We refer to the announcements made on 29 May 2017, 30 May 2017 and 31 May 2017 in relation to the Proposed Private Placement (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein.

On behalf of KAB, TA Securities wishes to announce that the Board has on 7 August 2017 (“Price-fixing Date”) fixed the issue price for 27,000,000 Placement Shares at RM0.79 per Placement Share (“Issue Price”).

As such, the Issue Price represents a discount of approximately RM0.0243 or 2.98% to the 5-day volume weighted average market price of the KAB Shares up to and including 4 August 2017, being the last market day immediately preceding the Price-fixing Date, of RM0.8143 per KAB Share.

This announcement is dated 7 August 2017.
