Harmonics have been quite handy when the chart is ranging. Here is a book that I saw online that had really helped me in understanding harmonics.

I will be shorting. I have two entry point , first one at the 1.414 and in case it can go up to the 1.618 fib based on bearish butterfly harmonics. 1st Profit taking point will be at 0.382 fib and the next is 0.618 on the most right fib drawn.

of course its just paper trading given that HSIF have the evening session, but its just a scenario of harmonics pattern, will draw another one that occur also this morning.

Hi Connie, do you do harmonics trading ? Or u know any sifu here that uses harmonic patterns? Seems like hrc is completing its bullish butterfly pattern at its CD leg and pending for a reversal soon.

icic, anyway hawk sifu, currently are u more to bull or bear? Correct me if im wrong, i dont really use alot of elliot waves but more of fibs and trendlines, not sure whether it will form a not cause what i can see now is that its trying to climb higher or maybe form a bear flag and trap ppl.

Connie, I dont use much MA cause its lagging but MA helps me on determining the current trend. The bull flag didslightly broke out of the upper TL just now, smell like a bull trap but like what u say , the volume seems exhasuted on my 1 hour. In order to push it higher, we need more volume

Yes, Connie. my Stop loss strategy in case the bear flag really breakout. Like how it just slightly broke out, it trigger my SL.

Connie, yes.do u saw that it actually hit that trendline and then slightly bounce off? that trendline is strong. I usually do put and set the stop loss slightly above the trendline in case it breakout

not sure anyone spotted the bull flag forming on the hsi 1hr, i did some fibs and seems like hsi 1 hr is en route to the range 460 but if it bounce off 0.618fibs (460) might be a bull trap and DOW had formed a symm triangle on 1day chart waiting for the breakout(abit bearish)

hourly seems like a reversal but on daily still seems bearish

One big green candle on HSI, lets see whether it can close above 31468 <-@.618 fib

I think HSI is still a manageable risk/reward situation. 31400 range is a strong fib resistance on my chart. With hourly candle on overbought condition, can be good for a short term trade.
