吉隆坡3日讯）发展商未按时付款，导致VIVOCOM公司（VIVOCOM，0069，创业板科技组）之前获中国铁建（马）（CRCC）颁发的总值4亿7400万令吉Gateway Klang二手承包合约不保。

本地财经周刊《The Edge》报道，该项目主要发展商Lagenda Erajuta有限公司，因未按时付款予中国铁建，导致双方合作告吹。

该周刊引述在一封志期2016年4月27日的共同终止信函指出，Lagenda尚欠中国铁建1521万令吉，这导致了中国铁建直接终止该项目。

中国铁建在信中回复Lagenda Erajuta时提及，“我们早前致函反复请求贵公司缴付拖延已久的费用，但最终结果导致了我们决定直接终止合约。”

同时中铁建在信中也要求Lagenda Erajuta退还之前缴付的总值340万令吉履约保证金。

Lagenda Erajuta是在2014年颁发相关合约予中国铁建，而后者将二手承包合约颁发给VIVOCOM公司。

KUALA LUMPUR: XOX Bhd, one of the largest mobile virtual network operations (MNVOs) in Malaysia, aims to expand to Southeast Asia countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines in the coming months.

Group chief executive officer Ng Kok Heng said these countries offer untapped potential and strong demand in the MNVO sector.

On the local scene, Ng said it target is to host two million subscribers by year end, from its current 1.6 million.

“We believe this is an achievable target given the multitude of marketing campaigns we are introducing, which can add value to the core mobile service. One such campaign is the Season Pass FAT plan which we recently launched,” he said.

The Season Pass FAT plan allows users to select from one of two packages; 10GB for just RM50 or 5GB for only RM30.

NetX Holdings Berhad announced its subscription of shares in Flavours of Malaysia (FoM) on Thursday, May 25.

NetX’s subscription of FoM’s shares represent 51% of the issued and paid-up share capital, for a cash consideration sum of RMB 3 million (RM1.87 million).

FoM is a wholly-owned foreign enterprise company incorporated under the laws of China and has its business operations in Shenzhen, China and intends to expand by establishing fulfilment centres in HangZhou together with NetX.

As FoM offers Malaysian specialty Food & Beverage products in China, these fulfilment centres will conduct research and development on Chinese national acceptance of Malaysian products and to use the research findings to acclimatise the product to suit the local taste buds.

Together with NetX, the partnership also intends to develop a Halal-certified e-commerce market place for goods and services between Chinese and Malaysian consumers and will use NetX’s integrated Mobile Electronic Payment Exchange for the payment services of this eCommerce market place.Steve Tan, Executive Director of NetX Holdings BerhadSteve Tan, Executive Director of NetX Holdings Berhad

“According to a report online, Consumers in China spent $798 billion on food and beverage in 2014 and this is projected to grow by a Cumulative Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 11 per cent to reach $1.5 trillion by 2020.

“Of this aggregate, China’s estimated 26 million Muslims contributed around 0.1 percent, or $10 billion, estimates the State of the Global Islamic Economy 2015/16 report.

“To disregard this huge market group is foolhardy.

The decision to open the new fulfilment centres in HangZhou is based on Malaysia’s recent e-commerce roadmap for the Digital Free Trade Zone (DFTZ) and the establishment of regional e-fulfillment centres in Malaysia.

The DFTZ was launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Alibaba founder Jack Ma on March 22, 2017 to provide physical and virtual zones to facilitate SMEs to capitalise on the convergence of exponential growth of the internet economy and cross-border e-commerce activities.

“DFTZ is a testament to Malaysia’s unwavering commitment to propel the growth of SMEs through e-commerce. It also marks a new phase of collaboration between Malaysian and Chinese businesses through the participation of Mr. Ma and Alibaba Group. The partnership between NetX and FoM could also be seen as a prelude to China’s One Belt, One Road (OBOR) initiative, which is poised to contribute to the local economic development.

Announcement in Relation to Settlement Agreement With Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd – Emas Offshore Limited
SINGAPORE, May 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors (the "Board") of Emas Offshore Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries and associated companies) refers to its announcement made on 23 December 2016 ("23 December Announcement") in relation to the Company's entry into a settlement agreement ("Settlement Agreement") with Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd ("PPTB") and the announcement made on 21 April 2017 in relation to the grant of an extension ("21 April Announcement"). 该公司营业额为4612万9000令吉。

由于该公司更换财政年，因此无前期数据。

该公司在文告中指出，该公司贝利赛Perisai Kamelia以及其他8艘船舰的合约，将分别在今年5月和8月到期，公司将继续为旗下资产寻找合适的营运机会。
