first thing first, we must understand the underlying motive for the revision in the buy back price. From a max of 26 sen to becoming a min 26 sen. This highlight that the company is worried that they will not be able to buy back the warrants at 26 sen and jammed up the restructuring exercise. This is why they revised the price upwards from 26 sen. They are willing and wanting to pay more for the warrants. We as buyers should not sell at low price now . If the price goes up to say 36 sen, the company is more than happy to buy back at 36 sen, even if it goes up to say...60 sen, they company will still buy it back at 60 sen. other wise their other restructuring proposal cannot jalan....

Usually a rationale investor would not sell unless pressing need for money. cause the higher the market price, the higher the floor price in the form of the 5 day VWAP

its not 5 days closing price. its VWAP 5 days, every transaction counts.

The contratrian, no wonder.... I was thinking either regulatory authorities or Investmen bank, cause the process flow you mentioned is spot on.

I believe the price will move beyond 30 sen. By announcing that 26 sen is minimum, means that they want the price to go up...

guys.....moving liao...bimb-wa. see last fri announcement. they will buy back at market price....which means any price
2021-02-02 09:33 | Report Abuse
guys...i think you should take a look at bimb-wa . similar to boustead, the company buying back all the warrants. Good thing is, there is no maximum price that they are buying it back. The buy back price is at the then market price, whatever it is....

Mr. Contrarian.....You mentioned KPS........

Thank you for your reply, Mr. Contrarian....I certainly hope it to be on the higher end of the range at RM1 / share. Anything below 90 sen would be dissapointing but not unlikely.

Tell me Mr. Contrarian what is the range of the SCR price that they are contemplating ?

I feel like the Contrarian knows more than meet the eye. He even knows who the advisers are at this juncture.....

thank you noobietrader69 for sharing your article. I find it to be informative and it gives a clear picture on the information of the substantial shareholders. Nevertheless, my own evaluation of AT is based on a proper analysis of the biz plan and the projection of the glove industry and its future growth. I can't profess to be an expert but I know that many many corporate players (and these are astute business leaders) jumping into the bandwagon to start the production of gloves. Case in point is Mah Sing and few others. I believe that these businessmen would have done a through analysis on the viability of venturing into glove biz. Given the strong earnings potential in the glove industry (notwithstanding the creation of a vaccine which I believe the businessmen would also have factored this into their analysis), it is still a very very lucrative biz to be in. I myself didn't believe when top glove, supermax and the rest shoot up a few months back.... I thot they were over valued and its just investors' delirious exuberance that keep pushing up the counters. Later, after discussion with various industry players and research analysts, only did I realise my folly of not jumping in and instead let my previous dated perception of things to hold me back. I found out recently from a long standing supplier of top glove that top glove has been going around town frantically to buy existing factories to boost up their glove production. Who knows maybe Top Glove won't mind buying Pearl if the figure make sense and we should never doubt Tan Sri Lim, he is after all the No 1 glove maker in the whole world

guys, for those not in the know, Pearl is not a nitrile maker and my gosh their production lines are old & encounter high wastages. AT has already since hired top notch glove expertise implementing state of the art tech in constructing new production lines. The termination of the agreement with Pearl will free up cash flow for even more efficient utilisation. This is indeed a better approach and definitely a positive outcome.

sold all. thot it will go up but vaccine news are everywhere. AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Moderna, Oxford Uni....all is progressing well on the vaccine front...Darn. Thot today Karex will move up ....It's fate is ultimately bound to the rest of the glove counters...
2020-08-25 08:01 | Report Abuse
Karex existing biz is worth 1 billion which is the current value. Glove biz value not factored in yet. Rubberex , 1 billion capacity is worth RM1.3 billion. Karex planned capacity is 2.5 billion, so it's glove biz should be worth RM2 billion ?
Does that mean 200% more upside to go ?
2020-08-24 21:12 | Report Abuse
ya...should easily go up another 100% within the short term
2020-08-24 21:11 | Report Abuse
easily RM3 billion valuation...means a run up of another 200%...

ex bonus /cum bonus all moot point...whoever holds on to this stock make losses unless u bought it prior to the run up, more than 1 year ago....I would suggest all to read 360Capitalist comments, and cross reference it to the historical price movement. His comments are worth heeding.

Err....but then again how do we know it is a good stock...???...Oh ya... cause we read newspapers and trade magazines, analysts reports..From our in-depth analysis from all this reading, we conclude that this stock is a sure win... A multiple bagel...Ya...We are all so smart, aren't we ??

yup...buy more, that's the spirit.. and when it drops further, we buy some more caused it is under valued. Then when we no longer can afford to buy any more and it drops further..we tell ourselves, it is a stock for the long haul. Good fundamentals etc...No worries. It will eventually go up...Yup, that's the way to play the stock market...

This stock is not the flavor of the month and most likely won't be for the next half a year. Commodity markets are bad .Seems to me, 2nd qtr PMetal will make significant losses. A few weeks before results are out. Let's see....

1year100%, you are right on the bonus shares. but still pmetal looking very expensive...and may not meet analysts expectation.
2015-05-07 01:23 | Report Abuse
profit of 3.58 sen per qtr x 4 qtr = 14.32 sen for full 2015 year..That is at least 50% below analysts profit expectation
2015-05-07 01:17 | Report Abuse
It is trading now at 20 x PE ratio based on 2015 annualised full year results...that makes it such an expensive stock to buy....
2015-05-07 01:15 | Report Abuse
Performance is horrendous. Look carefully the profit per share basis.
Profit dropped by 35% compared to 1st qtr 2014. Because it recorded 5.48 sen / share profit in 1st qtr 2014 as compared to the current 3.58 sen / share profit in 1st qtr 2015.
35% drop in profit and you can still say performance not bad and share price go up....

nothing is certain in share market but I think this is a very very good opprtunity to load up on the warrants..downside cap at 26 sen (minimum buy back price from company) , the upside is unlimited. Unlike other counters, when you buy shares, you need to sell it back to the market. For bimb-wa, you can buy and buy and later the company will buy it back from you. So, if I have money, I keep buying it upwards. Then my average price is low, I get to sell my shares to the company at high price.....Any thoughts on this ?
