AIRASIA Group Bhd (AAGB) may be looking to ground its airline business, which makes up about 75% of revenue, in light of the Covid-19 pandemic which has crippled air travel, sources tell FocusM on condition of anonymity.
AAGB founder Tan Sri Tony Fernandes said that the group’s focus “between now and June” was on deferring variable costs and minimising fixed costs. “That may mean we will ground the airline,” he told staff in a briefing today.

Monday Bursa Limit Up ..cross finger dun suspend trading due to too much blood on the trading floor ! The sharks has once again created a TRAP last FRI to limit down KLCI on Monday trapping ikan billis like r88 while they depressed the price further south ...hoping for more margin calls so that they can buy back lower ....that is how impatience loses to a fake rebound ..pls protect your wealth while you still can ...its gonna be a long pandemic ..no need to thank me for saving your Lobster meal rather than baby shrimp meal for the worst day is yet to come !
