Alot at stake for every shareholders; as the failure will wiped out billions from the gentings' pricing. There must be bad news in which we as shareholders dont know about. Just like after genm had purchased empire resort, we knew it later thru annoucement. Can the price retreat this time will really drive the price much lower that registered @ 5.73 last week? I think genting let us have the news late; so that they & associates can sell or liquidate first.

Genting probably at this current price is not worth its values anymore; after the purchased of empire resort. Who is so silly to buy a loss making empire resort of over twenty years. Lkt thru genm bought it. He has cashed out the money at shareholders' expense. This buyout does not favored the majority of shareholders. So the answer is still sell or liquidate.

As I have said, the purchased of empire resort is a huge mistake. It has not been nett discounted; as selling still dominates.

Is the problem that we are all taken for a ride? Genting is flushed with cash liquidity & why no dividend. Why price still spiralling downwards? All I know is while analysts commented genting is good; so we buy. But they are selling!

@enigmatic, it won't be a discount when 2020, the 3rd year jinx of genting will plunge below RM4.00 After last year, we have seen that this year is also not good for genting.

U must must lkt's employee. What happened was basically a cash out attempt. Votality happened to every stocks, but with prices plunged steeply, it showed majority shateholderd are not in favor of such irresponsible decision. Do you want to buy or take-over a loss making company. If your answer is yes, you are really silly.

@ monetary. Although genm did the bailout, kindly take note the mother share is still genting bhd. Genting bhd has not even declared any dividend. Why? So many factors. And that factors are many and at shareholders expense. Lkt is a dissappointment. That why I liquidate all. Just imagine - news out on the bailout of empire resort & subsequently price dipped sharply.
