Even though they sell shares through nominees, I think they also need report to bursa right? And bursa will post the annoucement in website

i can confirm that the people who buying and selling shares are those retail investors. The announcement will be posted in Bursa Malaysia if OVERSEA or insiders bought or sold their shares.

From 24th September until 17 October 2014, OVERSEA has buyback total number of 3,305,300 shares with total consideration paid of RM 706,691.23. Since their total number of shares outstanding in market is approximately 245,416,667, this means that they already get back around 1.35% ownership of shares.

Conclusion: They buyback almost everyday especially when the market is doing not well.

Just giving my opinion:

1) & 3) After OVERSEA sold their unprofit restaurants, there should be a significant amount retained as their internal funds. Besides, as i know, currently OVERSEA is a debt-free company (means it doesn't owe any money to banks). Thus, i believe that it has the capability and not difficult to get bank loan, in order to finance the cost of project.

2) Usually, it is not difficult to guess their intention of buyback shares, a) the shares are undervalued currently, thats why they buyback now at lower price. b) they want to sustain their share price to avoid it further dropping.

OVERSEA is planning to explore Taiwan market..

today OVERSEA's share price dropped to 21 cents, they buyback at cheaper price.

Today they buy back 50,000 shares again, I can sure that the shares are undervalued currently, that why they wanna buy back themselves.
