Markets looking at Greece now, no longer so focused on oil. If ECB-Greece mess up then DJ definitely downtrend, otherwise should be biz as usual. Surest bet now is to short treasuries/gold with the very likely rate hike.

lolz, at least he is not predicting a 1000pt drop like ICAP TTB, biggest joke. But corrections from time to time are healthy to flush out margin and contra players, preventing sharp correction like what happened to shanghai comp recently when index up due to margin plays. This makes things safer in the longer term. That is why i took profit after this morning's run, although nowhere as huat as kaw kaw's 60pts :)

But I agree with his view on gold and the USD.

dont forget dj set 38 and s&p500 52 new record highs in 2014.

yeah duitKWSPkita good point, small caps don't have white knights, so its hard to say esp with GST coming. That one depends on stock picking skills. Let's hope for the best, haha.

I'm still not sure whats the theme for post-CNY, but unless oil crashes again, i think KLCI should be biz as usual just because Malaysia boleh. hahhah.

A side note. MYR is now trading at 3.55 to USD, monthly low :)

I hope so too, but with US shares already comprising 70% of global markets, I don't think KLCI can escape when there's big swings.

DJ staying above 17800 for the past 20mins, oil >50 for nearly the last hour. Gold and US treasuries trnding lower.
