Lost 10M last Q and now the share up like rocket, amazing

Anyone who feels the CPO price will drop just go and short the futures.....Do note that plantation counters still make decent profits even if the CPO price drops to between 3500-4000. The PE will still be acceptable and the share price won't drop by much.

June CPO future around 6K, why should you sell? FGV results is based on their average price of 3600. I will sell when the price dips below 5K or showing a downtrend.

The CEO further mentioned for FY21, the CPO average = 3,600 where as most as reporting >4,000. GLC oh GLC

Chivo made a very detail analysis of Kfima. Based on CPO of 3,600, the prediction is RM3.13.With CPO price now at >5,000, breaking RM3 should not be an issue. Also the NAPS is very safe at RM2.95 with shareholders keep buying for the last 36 months. In my opinion the downside risk is minimal.

anyone knows how much felda owns to date? Btw, if they own more than 90%, what will happen to the rest of the shareholders

why do replanting when FELDA intends to take FGV private. This is to benefit the shareholders after privatisation (if successful). Not fair for current sholders....

international price of ethanol has gone up the roof........
2021-04-13 06:43 | Report Abuse
I was very confident of this share but clearly all the good stuff is not enough to push the share price, covid play-ethanol, new product-powder form, healthy balance sheet, profits from investments....what else do you need to show capital appreciation? Less conservative management?

if cannot rebound with current high cpo price, better switch back to BN. Can get at least 4, when they were first listed.

I must give credit to Mabel n Strattegist for consistently reinforcing No Sell call for all. At times, I was uncertain and pondered on giving up. Kudos.
For those who gave very poor advise, please remain in cold storage for the good of all.

Dear Felda, The strategist from Felda must be reading this and being frustrated must be annoyed and planning to arm twist their way through. The solution is very simple, we all want to sell, just offer a reasonable price. You can then go back to playing golf. Everybody happy
2021-02-03 12:26 | Report Abuse
After unlisted, i.e. if FELDA gets >75% but not 90%, all the excellent performance will surface, sale of assets fully written off, high revenue/margin from CPO price etc. Not to bad to remain as shareholder. If they do anything funny, we can still as shareholders investigate and bring them to court, like Isa. i.e. Unless they offer a higher price, we happy, they happy and they can do whatever they want......lol. Further, time is not on their side as CPO keeps climbing.

when fgv take over other companies, they look at future earnings to calculate the value. when felda want to privatize, they use past financials ignoring potential future earnings with the high CPO price. this is how they treat shareholders faithful and supporting the company. the poor settlers are the biggest victims. they subscribed at a high price. the ex CEO mentioned 1.70 to 1.80 is a fair price. felda, show some class lah.

with the emergency, most funds (especially overseas) have no choice but to sell their positions. Not good for the minority opposing this privatization.

question, received notification from Maybank Inv Bank on the privatization. Do we need to acknowledge receipt to qualify for vote later?

they need to wrap up quickly. Otherwise, Dec results will make it harder for them. Unless they can show magic with poor profits to dampen the price.

Thanks for your input Calvin. Previously, when CPO at 3,400 back in 2017, FGV >2.0. Now with CCPO at 3,600 it is at 1.28. if I am a Felda settler, I will be very unhappy with the way FGV is managed.

Calvin, I not with interest your comment on warrants and gloves, how the IB Banks try to contain losses by pushing down the mother share. Could it be happening to FGV as I see a lot of warrants goin to be in the money. Your thoughts

i am an investor in FGV but it is also good to understand other plantation companies since the rise in cpo will benefit other plantation as well. On your question of liking drop......FGV share price is well beyond my control and yes, at the current "low" price I find value in FGV. There will always be a ying and yang. When price is high, supporters are happy and new investor will be "sad" (for missing out) and vice versa. Isn't this the name of the game?

1. am curious about their balance investment in US market?
2. based on better timber prices, good for Hexza resins?
3. ethanol business not generating the volume and margins expected. understand the boiler n raw material issues. Factoring the "issues" is the current price reasonable?
Any expert can comment

Hexza ethanol comprise of edible and non edible, thus it is safe for usage (not to drink like water lah) Coupled with great prospects as we use a lot of sanitizers, potential market overseas/very strong B/S, capable management team/ample cash (90M)/investment (in US shares), makes this a steady investment unlike companies going limit up without such background. Support.
