I m just saying that a truely workable mass vacine will not be avail so soon. Investors dont look at FY20 earnings anymore. Its FY21 and FY22. If u think FY21 earnings to be 7sen or 8 sen, multiply it with the PER roughly u will have an idea how far it can go.

Those who took up the PP must have certain ideas that the share is worth more than the price they are taking. And expect more upside. PP is the most convenient wats to raise funds for capex. Yes, extra shares will dilute earnings. However management must have an idea that future earnings growth will somehow reduce the dilution effects

Having said that, Comfort is in a diferent segment which is in specialised examination gloves. With weak ringgit and low raw material price , comfort will also benefits

Stockpip....rubberex like orhers also produce medi al related gloves but mainly nitrile surgical gloves and also rubber gloves. As foe Comfort, it also produce nitrile gloves but comfort goes one step up producing examination gloves which are widely used now in hospitals worldwide to examine covid related patients which had spiked. Moreover Comfort produced more specialised gloves Besides industrial, home and rubber gloves. Why rubberex price spike i believe is mainly due to the coming on stream of the new lines. In this business, during good times, more volumes means more market shares. And with extra 1bn capacity come on stream in the next one or two months, ruberex will be able yo capitalised the uosurge in demand. Plus the weakening of ringgit and low material price, i would say more volumes will translate to more revenues and much better margins. Thus explain the surge in ruberex.

Covid 19 pandemic has been depressing all the major stock markets around the world. Our local stock market is not spared. To prevent Covid 19 infection, the demand for rubber and nitrile gloves exceeds supply. As a result, the glove prices have been going up higher and higher. All glove manufacturers’ profits are increasing and their share prices are also shooting up higher and higher.
Under such a situation, investors have the difficulty of selecting the company with the fastest profit growth rate to invest. Among all the share selection criteria such as NTA, cash flow, healthy accounts, EPS etc, I consider profit growth prospect is the most powerful catalyst to move share price.
Rubberex has the best profit growth prospect
Comfort Gloves
Currently Comfort is producing 450 million gloves annually and from February it has added 6 new production lines to its existing 49 lines. As a result, it will produce about 12% more gloves, totalling about 500 million gloves annually. The production increase is timely to take advantage of the higher sale prices.
Comfort has issued 580 million shares. Based on its current share price of Rm 1.50, its market capitalization is Rm 870 million.
Rubberex
Currently Rubberex is producing 1 billion gloves annually. Its new production plants which is scheduled to start operation in June has a production capacity of 2 billion gloves annually. The total production will be 3 billion gloves annually.
Rubberex has issued 252 million shares. Based on the its current share price of Rm 1.60, its market capitalisation is Rm 403 million.

Or if u expect earning will be flat or slightly down in the next few quarters, bonus issue will actually dilute in earnings and see drop on eps as more shares are divided against the profits.

Bonus issue is good if you expect the company to increase profit in the next few quarters. Essentially u will get more shares and still enjoy earnings growth. This will be the most ideal situation

Bonus issue will dilute earning per share as more shares will be available and factored in calculation of earning per share

According to fhe company, the company is running at 90% its utilisation. Which is quite minimal.disruption. And it says the european demand not affected as its products are categorised as essentials. And business as usual in Europe. However all over the world will get affected. If have to choose one to invest for gain in the next 3 mths, looks for those will rebound fast while its operations are minimally affected.
