C19 was a disaster to Cap A but also give them opportunity to start over again and focus on things that will work out..

Freighter operator Teleport adds another partner with VietJet tie up

Malaysia-based cargo airline Teleport has continued to expand its airline partnerships through a new agreement with VietJet.

The two airlines this week signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Air Cargo Southeast Asia 2023 event in Singapore.


The partnership will combine Teleport’s Southeast Asia network with VietJet’s global operations.

The move will help Teleport capitalise on growing demand in Vietnam, the carrier said.

Francis Antony, cargo group head of Teleport, said: “Our partnership with VietJetAir Cargo is timely as Vietnam is clearly growing to be a key market in Southeast Asia, with increasing manufacturing lines shifting to the country in recent years, contributing to more than 20% to the country’s GDP in 2022.

“VietJetAIr Cargo will be able to leverage our freighter capacity and we are able to move goods across key lanes such as Kuala Lumpur to Vietnam.

“Together, we will bolster economic connectivity between Vietnam and the region, ensuring seamless connectivity and enhanced services for both our customers.”

Nelson Wu, Vietjet air cargo managing director, said that its customers would benefit from access to new locations and faster speeds.

“This especially empowers our businesses in Southeast Asia to engage in global trade with greater ease and confidence in the coming time,” Wu said.

The deal is the second Teleport has signed in the last month.

At the start of October, the carrier announced an interline agreement with China-based express carrier SF Airlines.

Teleport brings to the table access into Southeast Asia, and SF Airlines a large express network within China and outbound into European and North American markets.

The move comes as Teleport looks to create new cargo streams to fill the holds of its expanding fleet.

The carrier is in the process of adding 10 converted A321 freighters, with the first delivered in July of this year.

(MAHB) said the total local passenger movements in the third quarter of this year reached 21.7 million, a more than 80% recovery in total quarterly traffic for the first time since the same period in September 2019. MAHB attributed the increased traffic to the addition of three new airlines — Salam Air, Super Air Jet and Sichuan Airlines — at KL International Airport and addition of 12 new destinations and resumption of seven routes by existing partner airlines.

* Hopefully Tony & his team will find ways how to get CapA out of PN17 without disposing airlines to AAX.

- MyAirline demised is an indicator only the steong will survive and succeed in airline biz.
- You cant rely on flying passengers alone. Need to bundle it all together with cargo, MRO, ancilleries, catering, ground handling etc. if successful then you can manage the cost wisely and even expand that business.. thats the route taken by AA.
- Soon to be abolished blanket petrol subsidy means less disposable income then i believe more people will choose to travel via budget carrier. Even better for AA/AAX.
- Travel pattern when people choose to travel nearer instead of transcontinental will also benefit ASEAN n AA poised to capitalize on this.
- Data analytics from MOVE superapp will help CapA to plan ahead with promos and give other competitors a run for their money.
- Lets support CapA/AA/AAX turnaround plan because like it or not they are the proud of the nation. 14 consecutives best low cost carrier is no joke!

Once CapA announce another stellar 3rd quarter performance we all can fly to ASEAN instead of Holland.. 🤣

I believe they want to use the 2nd & 3rd quarter results to show exponential growth both in revenue & profit. that's why they request extension for less than 3 months. the market will surely react tomorrow, but it will also provide opportunity for an entry or cost averaging. Let's hope for the best!

* MAHB reported increase in total number of passenger movements. Their biggest customer undoubtedly CapA & AAX.
** Revenue in all segments of CapA will also increased with these passenger movements within ASEAN. Expect better results in next Qr but bear in minds that currency exchange will play major factor in it.


MAHB said international passenger movements in Malaysia for July 2023 increased by almost 10% to 3.5 million passengers, from 3.2 million passengers in the preceding month, while domestic passenger movements totalled 3.9 million, up 2.0% from 3.8 million passengers in June 2023.

The growth from both the international and domestic sectors were contributed by the local school holiday towards the tail-end of July, summer holidays in the Northern Hemisphere, gradual return of China travellers, the return of haj pilgrims, the operation of new airlines, and additional flight frequencies.

I still believe if anyone who can pull CapA & AAX out of this trouble it will be TF. luckily he knew where his priorities are after dumping all the bs in QPR & F1. lesson learned the hard way. he just need to bite it and move on.

SO by that time AT already recoup all their initial investment for glove factory. So until then just ride the wave and ignores all the negative comments here. My first TP will be 50 cents in next 3 month. i made 4 transactions in AT and win all so far. No contra, no margin all cash. Looking forward for exciting closing of this year.

Demand will likely increase since Joe Biden took different views on how to tackle C19 compared to prev administration. One of the most potent weapons to combat C19 for now is PPE. Hopefully AT can start producing soon and ride the wave as long as it can.

Shit i just realized they will list new rights at 10 sen cost on 25 august together with free warrants. At this price i think people will throw more shares necoz they're already on profit. I bought yesterday simply on volumes. Hopefully can letgo before listing of new shares n warrants.

I personally know the CEO of its Oil & Gas division. They will start drilling contract awarded by Petronas in September. Some people might think that for this current environment it is not good to venture into oil n gas. But u have to remember they dont own the assets they just provide services to oilfield owner client such as Petronas. No matter if the drillings found oil or not they will still receive paymenr for their services.
