But wouldn't it be more attractive to the employees to subscribe (and raise cash for the company) if the ESOS is offered at a discount to the market ? If the price is deliberately suppressed, then wouldn't that defeat the purpose of offering the ESOS ? I'm just trying to figure out what is their strategy here.
