The Shale Oil Producers in US are now under great pressure as the WTI crude fall below 50 pb. Reach Energy has survived the worst in 2016 and 2017 when Brent is only average 35 pb and 42 pb respectively. Now Brent is 59 pb

Please check out the cash flow account sir. Reach has positive cash flow of RM 32.463 m from operating activities. This is more important than a small loss of RM 5 m. So no worries. I see opportunity to buy cheap and keep.

At 60 pb, it is still ok for Reach Energy. In 2016, it was only average 35 pb. In 2017, it was average 42 pb. So today, at 60 pb, it is more than OK.

Share consolidation simply means the share count is halved but the share price is double. Hence, the value is still the same. If the closing is 5.5s, then the next day after the share consolidation, the share price will be 11.0s

Reach has positive cash flow from operating activities of RM 32 m.

API reported huge big draw of 10.18 million barrels of oil. This simply shows great demand for oil globally.

Reach managed to pull through in 2016 (avg Brent price is 35 pb) and in 2017 (avg Brent is 42 pb). Now Brent is 60 pb

Last Qtr, the loss in RM 5.125m, ie owners of the company

Reach is only 2 years old starting from May 2017 when they took full control of Emir-Oil. So not too bad for a very young company in a matured oil industry. The CEO, Mr Shahul has 38 years experience in the oil industry working in ExxonMobil and Shell.

Very difficult to calculate because the last QR, not stated how many barrels sold. However, the total revenue now after 3 Qtr is RM 150 m, almost equivalent to the whole of last year ie RM 157 m.

Never play CONTRA. Buy and hold.

Buy long term simply because of new oil discoveries in NK-3 and Y-3 Wells. Now K-16 well is in the process. Just wait for these 3 Wells to be in FULL swing

The last Qtr results showed a revenue of RM 40.836m despite extreme weather conditions in the Aktau region. As usual, during the period of July to Sept, the weather in the Aktau region is very cold, this will hinder some business activities. However, with the new oil well in NK-3, the increased in oil production will be about 34.5%. Plus new oil in the Y-3 well and also the K-16 well.

Just buy and invest long term. Have faith in the company.

To survive in any oil CRASH, the first thing to do is to cut costs and CAPEX. This is exactly what Reach Energy is doing.

All these ventures and partnership do not need high costs.

For Reach Energy, the CEO has gone downstream which is more profitable selling the end products. Lately, there is partnership with another local company in Kazakhstan, KazTransGas.

Oil price cannot be too low or too high. It is best in the range of 60-75 so that Emerging Markets will not suffer.

Good news from Vienna. OPEC and NOPEC, both agreed to cut production by 1.2 m bpd! Oil price shot up last minute.
