Let me enlighten you, how an RTO takeover will happen in this instance, the JV co formed was supposed to be the new buyer for the Latexx co. This was already inked and agreed with JD.

To set up a JV, it’s just a vehicle, can put in 30:70 capital into the new JV. No need of any shares transfer into that JV.

If it’s what you said, this will then becomes the group owning the JV co and not the other way round for the RTO to occur. What RTO is this?

RTO can only takes place when the JV co owns substantial share in MQTECH, and then takeover MQTECH to list the JV co. EGM has to be called. That’s why it’s called Reverse Takeover.

大马股市交易量再创纪录，156亿股天量成交，接下来在T3强制卖出压力，多家过去几个交易日成交量激增的仙股，或将面对沉重卖压。

微领科技（MQTECH 0070）就是其中一个例子，该股在星期一时的成交量8亿1120万股，远超出微领科技发行的7亿1650万股股票。

该股昨天又有3亿2130万股成交，＂超买＂相当明显，市场需要消化短期投机客的对敲压力，以及大股东更会趁高套利。

微领科技在七月十五日时宣布合JD资源国际签署联营合约，以联营胶手套制造及销售，微领科技执行董事谢有利表示，联营胶手套生意的洽谈顺利进展，公司将适时公布更多讯息，以让股东掌握更多信息。

然而，微领科技这项宣布至今已三个星期，但是却没有任何新进展，根据熟知该项交易的人士指出，这项交易可能在微领科技股价过高情况下告吹。

大股东Goh Boon Soo @ Goh Yang Eng昨天在公开市场卖出400万股微领科技，退下大股东身份；他手上仍持有3350万股微领科技，因为不再是大股东身份，他卖出手上的票不再需要向大马交易所报备。

此外，微领科技昨天也接到董事Gerald Nicholas Tan Eng Hoe的通知，表示他有意在这期间交易该股，他持有4890万股或6.84%的MQTECH。

换句话说，这两名大股东合持8240万股MQTECH，若两大将票倒出公开市场，那该股卖压柔料非常沉重。

以目前的市价计算，两人手上的2批票总值1980万令吉，因此进行套利是极可能发生的事。
