Why AA so confident that can consistently give dividend because selling aircraft becomr part of the bussiness to generate profit...

How much discounted price given to airline for buying bulk of aircrafts from Airbus is a long well kept secret untill recently exposed when they was forced to do tax filling. The discounted price was 50%. If you get the aircraft today and sell tomolo, max you can gain is 100% for each aircraft you sell. Now you know why AA willing to sell off 5 aircrafts that not yet received...

You know what is NTA or not? Money from selling aircraft is part of the company NTA calculation. Like you buy asset 100k, now sell 200k, profit 100k will increase your NTA.

Profit from selling aircraft to be used to par down debt, NTA will increase.

-395 million loss is one time off write down. There were no reduction of cash which still remain RM3.3 billion. Sales of 25 aircraft this mid year will net another RM2.0 billion.

Last qtr report till 31 December. Now already 2 months into first qtr 2019. TF know the numbers in advance that’s why he said “Look out for AirAsia's first quarter”. Either very good or very bad. No so so qtr report.

I bought AA at 90 cents last time after heard TF said next qtr going to be BIG.

Average fuel price surged to USD92 bbl jet kerosene in 4Q2018 as compared to USD69 bbl in 4Q2017. As a comparison, based on 2018’s fuel consumption being constant, the higher average fuel price resulted in an additional fuel expenses of RM703 mil for the full year of 2018 vs FY2017.
