Supermax has a dividend payout policy of 30% in a financial year, so far they have paid a total of 5.3sen in current financial year which translates to 7.4% payout ratio. So it is safe to assume and expect the next dividend to be higher to achieve a dividend payout ratio of 30% in this financial year.

Apple just delivered its largest revenue of all time in its latest quarter (q1 2021) where the sales of all its product categories rose by double-digit %!

This tell us that ICT products are selling like hotcakes during the pandemic, which bodes well for VSTECS as they are one of the largest ICT distributors in Malaysia.

Looking forward to its coming strong quarter result next month!

It depends on the structure of your portfolio.

If your portfolio now is mainly cash, then every correction/weakness of fundamentally strong companies is a good entry.

If your portfolio consists of recovery stocks, depending on the price you got them.. you can refer to the 3 scenarios I have illustrated and pick the one that suits you.

Anyhow, this will only affect us in short to mid term.

Good luck !

let me share my humble opinion:

The only thing that is supporting Prlexus's business is its high profit margin ProX face mask. This is witnessed by its Q4 2020 result, which Prlexus recorded an all time high PAT.

The problem is this:

According to its latest quarter result, both its revenue and PAT have dropped in a notable amount.
As explained in the report, the drop in both revenue and PAT is due to the DECREASE IN AVERAGE SELLING PRICE for its facemask (and also sales of apparel).

A further drop in average selling price will further shrink its revenue and pat for coming quarters.
