Yes. It seems like a good prospect. Keyasic is in a good position to design lower end chips for use in EV and AI. It definitely doesn't have what it takes to design higher end chips. That's what China is focusing on now. It will try to find a way round US sanctions

I think it has to do with China opening up. The bulk of its revenue comes from China. Hopefully Bio will win more contracts to supply food ingredients. The vaccination rate in China is relatively low so health foods may play an important role in boosting immunity

The price won't move much as long as China's zero-covid policy is in force because the bulk of its revenue comes from there

sting79, William very likely had taken that into account before setting up and expanding Bio in China. We wouldn't know for sure why did he go down that path or what agreements he has with China. With China increasingly decoupling from the rest of world, there is a focus on self-sustainabiliy. We also see that in the chip-making industry.

Hopefully with the Chips Act in place, there's news about the acquisition. Otherwise it will be just another pipe dream and Keyasic will disappear into oblivion
