DPS has already won the original case last year. What new evidence or whatever could change from winning the appeal. What would losing say about the High Court that they made a mistake? I think not. For MSIG this is just a last dog and pony show. They have a right to appeal just wasting time and more money is all.

Ok shila.....the reason the executives bought so much this year was due to the fund raising rights issue. When a rights issue is implemented there has to be a certain percentage of shares bought in order for the rights issue to be acceptable. DPS executives had to buy most of the shares in order for the rights issue to succeed. Sentiment towards DPS has been very negative in the past due to poor performance. This is changing as management moves in a better direction.

Reasoning behind the executives buying stock; investment, support company especially with the fire destroying manufacturing, and recently for rights share issue.
One has to understand that when DPS receives the insurance money the share will increase especially since, because of fund raising rights issue, DPS is almost debt free.

Exactly Charlie chia. We should see earnings report on the 29th of November and announcement regarding the appeal case on the 2nd of December.

DPS is almost debt free so any future profits will be very influential to share value.

Thank you decentguy....everyone likes that "instant gratification" and/or "quick fix". This is what separates investing and gambling. The best investment is research and understanding.

With the fund raising rights issue - double DPS share's and implement DPS-WB - the price of 0.12 cent is right on and the share will trade sideways until posting any more profits. Posting of 1H will be around the same time as the appeal court date.

Today should be announcement when appeal case will be rescheduled. Most likely after hours.

I believe NICE will pass PN-17 status and go straight to out of business........better run before it is too late.

Every day there are more people looking for real estate which is getting less and less. The world is making more people but not real estate. Soon even the seriously low budget property will be worth much more. Look in Penang, IJM is adding sand and dirt to build more land for development.
You are right about DPS development of middle priced property. This will always be in high demand. Everyone needs a place to lay their head within budget. Perfect family property development.
Look at other businesses, similar to DPS, and you will find they are worth more but losing money every quarter. DPS is profitable and will be much more profitable going forward. Patience will be the winner.

This is why we didn't see anything on the 21st of October 2015.

Bursa Rules on announcements:
2.11 Timing of submission
An applicant or a listed issuer must ensure that the said documents or any amendment to the said documents, are submitted to the Exchange not later than 5 market days after the effective date of the relevant documents or any amendment to them, as the case may be.

So earliest will be today and the latest will be next Thursday. This does not mean that we will see anything until Bursa wishes to post the announcement. I cannot find anything about a timeline for Bursa to post.

The next earnings announcement, from previous history, will not be publicly posted until December. IF can wait that long there should be good profit from prior property development finishing.

Hard to know what will happen in any case because we do not control the system. We are zombie's in the system. Hard to beat the law makers. They will make it to where they win. Maybe not today but some day. We can only go forward from where we are now.

You have to give DPS credit to postpone "IF" one of the Judge's would make a problem with the outcome of the case. Remember 3 Judge's means 2 out of 3 win decision.
Now as far as when this will happen?!?! Could be 2 weeks or ? Usually there will be a postpone for one month after the hearing reschedule court on the 29th. Just have to wait and see.
DPS is moving in the right direction and this will take some time to develop into very nice profit.
