They have not announced the listing date of the warrants yet. It seems that the free warrants are usually listed about 2 weeks from the ex date.

Your calculations of the mother share seem correct, that is, 0.56.

But the theoretical price of the warrant will be dependent on the price of the mother share on the eve of the warrant's listing and the exercise price.

Let's assume the listing date of the warrant is on 17 March.
On 16 March, TCS share closed at 0.55.
The warrant exercise price is 0.38.
Then the theoretical listing price of the warrant should be
0.55 - 0.38 = 0.17.

Please correct me if I am wrong

Yes, sometimes warrants are issued before shares. Sometimes like jftech, both shares and warrants were listed on the same day.

The stock market is like life, there's a balance. You have the bears, the bulls, maybe some chicken hearted ones, some lion hearted ones, the sharks, the ikan bills. Together, it's a lot of fun. When the SCIB warrants are listed, you will encounter the operator(s) and the syndicate. From recent trends, they will control the SCIB warrants for a short, critical period. We can only watch. There's no escaping.

I noticed that SCIB bonuses of shares and warrants is slightly different from that of, say JFTech. SCIB had an ex-date for shares and now another ex-date for warrants. My own broker advised me wrongly. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

apolloang. You're right. At the last moment yesterday, some Kpower WA were transacted at 0.60 below the LU price of 0.605. And today bursa did not freeze the price. How did they do it? Haha

Ally Yee. Yes, for 2 days I booked to buy Kpower WA but tak boleh dapat.
I booked to buy at 0.305 (1st day), 0.605 (2nd day). Waited the whole day.
Looks like for free warrants, better get the mother share before the ex-date, just like SCIB.

Warrant Exercise Price = 1.16
Free Warrants Ratio = 2:1 = 2
Bonus Issue Ratio = 3:1 = 3

1. Post bonus issue, price will adjust to: RM1.6975
2. Post warrants issue, price will adjust further down to: RM1.5183 (assuming full exercise of all warrants, which may depend on warrant holders view of the future- anyway, tomorrow it's already in the money, so traders can easily exit)
