Money business story. PUC---->Wealth Pursuits--->CHIYO----> YAPEEM
2019-01-11 22:35 | Report Abuse
TheContrarian, glad the reasonable people like you still here. Today, read PUC signed MOU with Chiyo Asset Management KK to help obtain institutional capital as a source of funding to grow its financial services business.
PUC said Wealth Pursuit is “desirous of collaborating with Chiyo to obtain institutional capital to grow its financial services business”.
So, PUC through Wealth Pursuit get Chiyo to grow their funds, also to allow YAPEEM to borrow money from Wealth Pursuit?
Sounds like a good source of stream income for PUC.
Need to read details of this.

YapJH, so, what is your conclusion? You wrote very lengthy, but what information you want us to know here? Is it A) PUC bad, dont buy ; or B) BUY?
I'm a conclusive person. No need turn one big round.

funda @YapJH, please read through the QR page 11.. last paragraph on Review of Performance:
" The Group’s investment in its’ associated company, Pictureworks Holdings Sdn. Bhd., contributed profit of RM3.20 million in the period under review. However, this is offset by the loss arising from the Group’s investment in Celcom Planet Sdn Bhd of RM0.40 million during the current quarter"
If you calculate the losses, total monthly loss from 11street was 1.33mil per month in last qtr (assume 10% owned by PUC)... which is not far away from cytew comment...
Yes, you are right. PUC management has done superb cost cutting cost on 11street after they taking over the management in less than few months, proven by the QTR... Furthemore, despite the aggressive cost cutting on 11street, the users traffic on their site are actually rebound after decreasing for few continuous months....

@Funda,cytew mentioned it's 100k permonth, no? 1.33 mil losses permonth is different by 1.23mil, fren

TODAY was a good day for KLCI. Most stocks have rallied including small & big caps. Except PUC.
I still need to see the " promised" earning of PUC. C3 yet to show us PW worthy of acquiring. The interesting component of PW is the face recognition tech. I read this tech will be big in securities. How big...contributed from PW, yet to know.
I'm anticipating the profit guarantee to materialise, hopefully soon.

sonyx123, my comment unacceptable ? Lol
Don't get me wrong brother. I'm holding PUC much higher than most of you. I'm not afraid to announce I have 1 mil over lots of shares which posted red report on my portfolio. Micro loans have mitigated risks if loans are defaulted without gov guarantee. The structure deduction from employees salary or as such, need to find out more. I have no clue on this. This is first time PUC signed MOU with government.
My concern on PUC more on PW. I wish to know how they are going to service the 165mil acquisition.

The Contrarians, providing business to gov employees is a serious business. Don't think it's looking good. Gov employees debts can get very high and cause default. I hope PUC have done the extra homeworks on Yapeem.
If you bought PUC based on TA, best to express your TA opinion instead of sugarcoating it with FA.
FA for PUC still far fetched. I'm still not convinced until the next Qr is proven with higher profits.
