Since fuel costs is 70 percent of profitability for sure then AA is dead. Like Kingfisher in India Bury it. MAS will be better off as a national airline serving domestic. Govt cannot go near AA or AA X. Its like throwing money into kerosene. Wait for the year end results when all the losses will show. Check the auditors don't let them do a Hing Leong like in Singapore. Also bankrupt and with lesser gambling hedging. Very different from proper hedge for insurance. This was like a rogue trader gambling.

depend what u want as I said. example floor slab usually require grade 25N concrete. of course u can use grade 40N but for what wasting that money to get more strength than what it require? wall and column require grade 40N concrete. anyway the strength of concrete doesn't support ur house. the 1 which give the strength to support the entire building is the steel bar inside the concrete. concrete just give a little compressive strength and protect the steel from rusty. big-grin

we are entering a phase where it is not either or. The safety and health of our citizens are paramount but if the economy does not progressively start again, the social unrest due to no earnings, no capacity to purchase basic essentials will be equally bad outcome vs the covid19 spread. We thus need a SMART GOVERNMENT to strategies and execute the re-opening the economy with nil or minimal impact on citizen safety. Here citizens too have to play their part (compliance) and not expect govt to do everything.

Some relaxation is necessary, for example in the supply chain for food manufacturers, where their supplies of raw materials and packaging are stopped because they are not deemed essential industries. Some types of exercising should be allowed, it's necessary for our physical and mental well being.

Who wants MOC to be extended beyond 14th April ? The government employees and salaried staff of commercial enterprises would want MOC to be extended . WHY ? They are still being paid and do not suffer any loss of income ? What about hawkers, daily paid workers and small businesses ? These unfortunate categories have to work in order to earn wages to buy food to feed their families .

There are some many heartless people who only care for themselves . What about the jobless ? Where to get money to pay rent & food ?
So don’t scream for MOC to be extended . Not all Malaysians are in government civil service . Have a heart for the jobless & those not in Govt service
