Means already roughly 86% of adult population registered for vaccination
Assuming my calculation is overly positive, take away another 3%, still at 83%

Those between 0-14 years old is 7.6m population of 23.3%

Add in those between 15-17, and you could see roughly 8.5-9m
If total population were to be 32.6m (2019), minus off 20.3m who registered, that's 12.3m who are not registered. Minus 9m, that's 3.3m who are eligible but not registered adults.

I think for those eligible to register, number is much better than some western countries

Don't forget the below 18 population is quite huge as well
Based on 2016 demographics, 0-14 years old takes up a significant 24.5% (about 7.8m pop count)
15-17 could be another few million population

US population is around 330m. Malaysia is around 33m. Roughly 10x.

They have around 15K cases per day, and normalized to Malaysian population it would be about 1.5K cases.

Now in some US states it is even optional to wear mask even on crowded streets. This is the new norm which will take place in Malaysia as well in the near future (2 months, 4 months whatever, it is coming)

Hospital and ICU wards numbers only reflect what is the current trend.

They are very important numbers no doubt, and it is also shown in other highly vaccinated countries that hospitalization and ICU patient count is not very high even when infection is still ongoing.

FYI before Covid, Genting Highlands operations contribute more than 30% based on my memory.
You can easily verify by looking at say FY2019 financial results.

Hopefully existing Genting shareholders can get bonus via the listing lol

Listing isn't all good though.
In the short run, Genting will save on massive interest charges that's a big plus
However, it will also mean we are sharing a piece of the pie with new subscribers
But the credit will probably be more meaningful to spur additional new investments in the US
