KUALA LUMPUR: The World Bank has revised Malaysia’s economic growth projection to 3.3 per cent in 2021, down from the 4.5 per cent forecast in June.
It said the ongoing Movement Control Orders, increased precautionary behaviour and subdued labour market conditions were expected to weigh down further on private consumption and overall economic growth, especially for services-related sectors, which had been heavily impacted by movement restrictions.

Terrible service especially AirAsia Food. Don't order here if you have gastric. Delivery take more than 1 hr even 3 hrs. The most terrible case is automatically cancel after long waiting. It happened a lot of time auto cancel. Reason given due to system glitch. Terrible

Meanwhile, in related news, the financial services provider CGS-CIMB has pointed out the need for AirAsia Group to shore up the funds of its shareholders if it wants to avoid being delisted on Bursa Malaysia. The group is vulnerable to falling into the stock exchange’s Practice Note 17 (PN17) category, which relates to companies that are in financial distress, by January 2022, the Singapore-based financial services firm said.
Companies that fall within the definition of PN17 need to submit to the authority a proposal to restructure and revive the company in order to maintain listing status.
“Companies like AirAsia, where its auditor has expressed ‘material uncertainty’ regarding going concern in its audit opinion for FY20, will need to demonstrate shareholders’ positive funds of at least half of its paid-up share capital in order to avoid being classified as PN17,” CGS-CIMB said, adding that this means AirAsia Group has about five months to address its shortfall in its shareholders’ funds of just over MYR6.65 billion ringgit (USD1.59 billion).

Just updated to the latest version and it feels really bloated. When scrolling through the restaurant with more items, the app gets real slow. Also, restaurant tags need to be improved as the current search results is really bad. There's also this bug when you scroll through more restaurants, the same restaurant will keep reappearing.

Worst experience I had so far. System not refine search to areas available, also not allow user to filter area manually. Upon check out only realize there is max points can be redeemed. Took > 10 min also cannot remove an item from shopping cart. Logout and login multiple times also cannot. Can't understand why roll out such an immature app.

I like new Rides option and I welcome competition. I'm happy to support you guys but PLEASE FIX THIS APP. It's slow, it hangs, it's buggy, notification icon on Samsung (Red icon on green background looks really bad (I know it's a matter of taste). Please improve the app and I will gladly support you...

AirAsia food order plaform, the price is good. But the platform and user experience is sucks! The information in key in is different on the rider apps. That make me have to accept for their ego? Terrible experience with the apps!

App is okay so far.. sometimes hard to get driver... And app sometimes difficult to maneuver and lack real time updates in map/tracker.... but I understand it will be better in due time. Keep kup the good work! ONLY ONE THING , DON'T BECOME GREEDY LIKE GRAB AMD START INCREASING PRICES. KEEP YOIR PRICES LOW AND REASONABLE . DONT BECOME CORPORATE CAPITALIST LIKE GRAB!!
