Voonyoke, we share the same sentiment. FED rate hike of 0.125 or 0.25 might not hurt the US economy as much, but the same could not be said with emerging markets like malaysia. Cost of borrowing will be affected tremendously especially USD borrowings. With the reckless spending of the current govt, Malaysia has a high probability to default its debt.

Valuecap is owned by Khazanah, KWAP and PNB. Each of them will pump in 6.67b each, totalling 20b. My resource says that khazanah has already started pumping into the stock market even before the announcement. How long will the 20b last? We will find out soon...

As per our prediction earlier, the oil price is now trending downwards. Brent is now losing 3.5%. More losses is expected.

One the most crucial factor is the falling oil prices. While we do not see oil prices falling to $20 as suggested by Goldman, the oil price could very well trending towards below $40 level. We foresee the oil price to be trading around $30-$35 next year. Where else is Malaysia going to get the money to bail out bursa? What is the measure by Malaysia govt to stop the ringgit from plunging to RM5 to USD1?

Charles, no need to worry. The 20b has not even pump into the market yet, just an announcement. This is just panic buy by retailers and cannot sustain long. With the dropping oil prices, probable rate hike, China sell-off, ringgit devaluation, how much more they can prep up the market? A bubble is imminent.
