Analyst still use $75 to $80 a baarel as basis for predicting the TP for Hibiscus. The Saudi will not and cannot let the oil price fall below that. Next QR will be based on oil price average of $75 and the following QR will be at least $80. Cost for Hibiscus to produce 1 bbl is still below $13. Hibiscus will get $6 premium on top of marjet price, Hibiscus produce about 950,000 bbls per quarter..every increase in oil price above $80 give Hibiscus a fat bonus.

Oct 2016, Hibiscus share was 0.25 after 48 month, the share stand at 1.25, this like 1 RM gain, or 2c per month, 6c oer QR, how many time sinducate tryed to scare you? Eventualy, the share will stand at what it deserve. TP2.5 by mid next year.

The best strategy is to Hold on to your share as long as the fundamentals has not changed. If you cannot di so, better not enter at all.

Long term or short term, Hibiscus fact is that he will be making at least 200 million MYR/ year of Net profit with current production rate and price. Immagine the net profit when he double the production! Investment is for future and not the past. TP2.5 RM by next year same time as today.

Only 3 country can fullfill Iran look alike oil ( brent crude, high sulfer) , the Saudi, Irak and Russia, however, they combined cannot fill the gap, they need atleast 1.5 year to fill it.

If this appear to be correct, the 623000 barrel per quarter from sabah, sold at average of let say $80/bbl, give Hibiscus a 12% margin. Or
623000x80x4.10 = 204 MRM (-80%)=40.8M (-38% tax) = 25 MRM!,

From North sea his margin should be higher, usualy he get about 15% based on his previous reports. If he manage to sell 522000 in this quartert, his net profit should be 522000x80x4.1=171MRM, with 15%, the net profit should be 25MRM, waw almost same as Sabah, however next quarter the Anasuria production will be mutch lower arround 280000 bbl.

So lets take 50 millions as net profit in 1Q19, this means the share fair value with PE10 come to about RM1.25 ((50Mx4/1.59B)x10.), with PE15, it goes to RM1.87.

Not sure about the 70% cost of production, maybe its less i hope.
2Q19, Anasuria cannot produce 522000bbl, perhaps 280000bbl
I use $80 as average, hope this is not exagurated.

Anyway, these are just numbers, market can be way different nowaday,..follow your instict when trading in stock. Maybe Public Bank have more accurate data then you and me..but based on your numbers this is what you get as sgare value. PE 10 RM1.25.or PE15 RM1.87.

@teoct, thank you for sharing your idea about Royalty, we shall wait to see in the comming weeks if Sabah and Sarawak still pushing for higher fee, even if the Impact could be on Petronas only, this may indirectly impact all oil and gas companies in Malaysia on the long run.

Funny to know that Trump again called the Saudi on Saturday, want to lower the oil price again, this time he seems to be very angry. Usualy he call, orice one day down and then weeks up..haha.

Many good news, too good..which make me wonder that they want to promote Hibiscus aggresivally.

Is there anyone following Sabah and Sarawak demand for higher royalty? Currently Hibiscus pay 5% to Sabah and 5% to Petronas, now Sabah want to receive 20% instead of 5%, I am worry about that, why no one is clearing this up? what if this going to hapoen, is there any impact on Hibiscus earning? Does this neans he will loose 15% of his revenue from Sabah field? Or can he be compensated for contract breach? I am sure Hibiscus contract is firm, still my wonder wont go away so easy..any suggestions you want to share, please do.

Hibiscus if he needed money, usualy he will call for a private placement, he does not raise money through right issue. The private placement will be bought by one investor, and pay the share value based on the last week average price minus 5%. This cash can be used in part or in full to double the production while maintaining a healthy financial ballance.
