I talk with credentials as a 10++ years oil an gas veteran with experience in hiring and chartering vessels like AWBs, AHT/S, SSVs, landing crafts etc. There are not many downtime and most of the jobs are undertaken by Miri based repair yards like Shin Yang, Sribima, Ajang Shipyards. Maybe pasarborong you have better experience. Wisdom is knowledge plus experience. Googling and having some knowledge does not qualify as wisdom. I share these with the kakis out there whom may have lesser experience so you don't get caught by unscrupolous sharks...

TAS Offshore is never an oil & gas counter. It only builds and repair ships. No direct involvement like Perdana Petroleum (via Dayang) or Alam Maritim per se... Invest wisely..

Illidan, relax. I am new to this forum but have traded some over the years mostly IPOs. I had fingers burnt with SAAG but since then i did make some money off KLCCP, Bursa, Dayang, Iris etc... I believe you should know your counters well via sifus from this forum and read up The Edge or similar publications. Trust your instinct and do not hesitate. Play with money that you can afford to lose or you will lose hope. With time, comes experience, and with experience you'll enjoy more upswings than downswings... Cheer up!

On BFM this morning, the Maybank stock analyst reckon this counter can rebound in 2 month time akin to Air France and Aseana incidents some years back. What do you guys think? I never really had a good look at MAS ever since Idris Jala left. Is it time to buy or time to make haste?
