'refined' = treated, cleansed, processed etc. to make something become finer, better, higher grade etc.

'crude' = unrefined, coarse, gross, low grade etc.

That's right. That is what many people are still confused about.

They read news that India has restricted imports of refined palm oil. And they just go, 'Alamak, habis la, minyak sawit Malaysia dah kena block, x boleh masuk India lagi.'

Which is simply completely wrong.

'refined palm oil' is what you get from REFINING crude palm oil (CPO).

So, you still need to buy crude palm oil (CPO) from abroad (e.g. Malaysia), even if you want to perform the REFINING process in your own country (India) in order to defend your country's REFINERY industry.

Whether or not NetX is going to 'make money' is not so much our concern. We are not the people on the ground. We are investors. The responsibility for for 'making money' is on the shoulders of the BOD & the top management.

If they perform, all well & good for us. We remain with them for the long haul.

If they don't, we take our money away, put it somewhere else. Simple as that.

For the moment though, our only concern is whether or not NetX is going to be involved in this NFCP. Whether direct as main con, or indirect as subcon, does not teally matter all that much.

Companies losing money are indeed often great opportunities for an experienced investor to make money. Becos they could be actually be in the process of turning around, or are on the verge of entering the process of turning around.

So that their prices are very low, often hovering around their all time lows, while at the same time possessing enormous upside potential.

Shootout must be either a very inexperienced novice newbie, or an old timer who is an extremely slow learner, for him not to know & understand these things.

Well, I got about three fifths of my current holdings @2sen. Kept queueing @2 sen for the other two fifths.

In the end, I just grabbed them @2.5 sen. So my average cost is now 2.16 sen, instead of the 2 sen that I was at first hoping to get.

I just kind of decided, 'WTF, man, I'm not going to miss out on my future 300 - 500% ROI over a difference of 8% at point of buying'.

So, that kind of just did it for me.

If difficult to buy @2sen, that means seller side drying up @2sen.

So, gradually moving toward 2.5 sen on buyer side, and 3 sen on seller side.

They were all like forecasting RM2,300 per tonne for March 2020. But now it's not even January yet, and CPO is already close to bursting through RM3,000 per tonne.
