For a small company, it does not matter that much. You just look at the price actions of Carimin & Perdana. Just two days ago, they were moving even faster in % terms compared to Reach or Hibiscus.

What one individual thinks does not make so much effect. It is the perceptions of many thousand investors, at any particular time, that combine to make the market move this way or that.

Take today, for example. Carimin moved up 3.08%, but Hibiscus only 1.56%

For small companies, the effect of oil price is about the same.

For a service provider, higher oil price => more jobs => higher profits.

US is only testing the effectiveness of their political pressure. But Saudi-OPEC is now allied with Russia in O&G. If they both don't want to kowtow to US regarding oil production & oil price, there is not that much that US can do.

There is only US$15 to go to US$100, and we hv three months to New Year. All we need is US$5 per month, to get to US$100 Brent by year's end.
