It will be another tough day. No matter what the outcome of announcement by Zeti today, the market will be spooked prior to announcement. Will Zeti announce only the GDP performance? Or will she also announce peg on our currency? Or will she also announce her retirement? Or all of the above? Najib certainly wants her to report a superior result for obvious reason but will she go rogue? Or will it be Najib decision for her to go ?
The answer is not as important as the anticipation, so market may go berserk for reason that if Zeti steps down, the spiral will be worse while if Zeti gives assurance the market will sustain a few more days.
