@Sue1234, because of its good fundamentals to date and future prospect. YTLP's ventures in utilities, digital banking, data centres, property development are all critical for the next years to come. I believe once the data centre's earnings are factored in future financial quarters & years, the earnings would increase significantly. Utilities sector is also a somewhat defensive investment choice in an uncertain market.

Finally, my chance to add position for YTL and YTLP before the next flight.

Holding tight to YTL & YTLP for long term. Could not think of other stocks that would be as attractive in its prospects, even if I were to take profit now. Congratulations to all who have believed in fundamentals.

Ular, curious ya. Since you are spending so much time in this thread, surely you also have your target and cut-loss prices. Lai, share out in black and white like YAB Pak Tua. Mine TP: RM4.20, cut-loss RM3.40.

This is the problem with Malaysian forums. The users are always spreading false news or fearmongering while taking the opposite action themselves. For all we know, those passionately asking everyone else to sell are likely the ones laughing and collecting while those that keep shouting to buy might be dumping frantically. Do your own research and make your own decision as you monitor your watchlist. Appreciate the facts presented and keep up with the news and reports. Do not blame your decisions on recommendations made by others.
