Sometimes I just don't understand the use of the performance review for the income statement. It says the lower profit was due to higher cost of sales. (Of course!!! We can see it directly from the numbers itself) But what we need to know is the reason that the increase in cost of sales is proportionately higher than the increase in revenue.

Hmm... I guess it is due to its relatively thin volume of shares being traded in open market?

Agreed that Elsoft can never be like Inari UNLESS there is some potential quality M&A. I believe the main catakyst right now is possible new plant to overcome full utilisation of current plant and utilisation of its massive share premium for bonus issue.

I am not particularly sure about the impact of call warrants on mother share.
But I just simply cannot comprehend why investors would want to sell this stock. US is recovering very well (In fact, it is recovering at a quicker than expected pace). Stronger US$ only translates into greater forex gain in exports. I think Inari exports about 90% to Avago, if I did not mistaken.
Just weird.... Overreaction... I would say.
Nevertheless, fundamentals remain intact. Another record earnings is expected for this quarter. Just keep holding if you believe in the management.
Sell ONLY if you believe the management is no longer competent in driving the company forward.

@passerby
That is at least based on my assumption that it has already secured a contract in April that is worth as much as revenue in FY2013, but having greater revenue doesn't necessarily translate into greater profit unless they take advantage of scale economies.
Hence, yeah I am a bit too optimistic, but you can take that as my level of belief in the company's management.
Nevertheless, I may be wrong.

Dear investors, Elsoft is a fundamentally sound company. It was further justified by the sale of shares by directors for institutional placement. As far as my investment journey is concerned, this is my first time that I observe directors selling their own shares for institutions (Usually, there are proposed private placement through new issuance of ordinary shares). This scenario, in my opinion, expresses the directors' strong intention to bring the company to the next level.
Yes, PE is 27 times, but take note that this is based on historical EPS. Assuming that EPS 2014 doubles, the PE will be half of that. Hence, if you want to look at PE, do take into account of their future EPS, which differs between different people.
The volume was relatively thin. Hence, it can either shoot up very fast and down very quickly. Based on chart, a major correction is very likely to occur AND it HAS occured. Yes, usually three red candles indicates bearish signal, but if you believe in the company's management, you may disregard this and keep holding. Basically, I expect the support to be around RM1.42. But I still believe that it will go higher than RM1.85 in three months time.
This is merely my personal opinion and serves NO intention as investment advice.

I think I need to clear the misconception that when sellers are more than buyers, the price drops. As to what I know, it was never the number of sellers and buyers that will determine the real/current movement of the price though it MAY be an indicator to the future price movement. The price rises when there are enough buyers buying at the seller's price and drops when enough sellers sell at the buyer's price. Do correct me if I am wrong. Thanks! =)

When employees get it for cheap, I did expect the price to fall as they may be selling. Considering the number of shares issued under ESOS, its impact is likely to be very minimal. What matters the most is the fundamentals of Cuscapi, of which I am impressed. Believe in fundamentals. There isn't any share that rises every single day.
Just my half cent opinion.

Finally, this counter looks relatively attractive. Waiting for you...

I think the problem lies on the "proposed acquisition of FPSO facility". Since it is merely a proposal, they are already projecting a double digit growth when the deal isn't done yet.

Hi Mr Chia, though I do not rely on their ratings as a priority in making my decisions, I do read up their analysis and comments as to why they rate the company that particular way. Often, their TP are exaggerated. For me, it is unreliable, but it does create some investor sentiment.
Only my personal opinion. Cheers!

Frontrunner for more than RM 800 million MRT contract, selling Hicom Power for over RM 500 million, most analysts recommended BUY with a TP, which is RM 1 above its existing price since April and yet share price remained stagnant. Frustrated...

But still he bought all of them at a lower price as compared to the closing today. Great job!

What a dramatic increase today. Couldn't believe it shot up by 11% to a new high in half a day. Too bad I sold them at RM 2.80. Probably much profit taking next week???

Directors accumulating the shares. Does this imply that there may be some drastic increase in price soon? Hmmm...

I was very disappointed with this company. I thought the one-off GST will be the turning point after accumulating losses for the past 2 years. I simply cannot believe that their revenue was lower than the preceding quarter. I have cut loss as I simply lost faith with the management.
