In case some of you may not know emil, he is the smart alec that said Prestariang Berhad would drop to 10 sen, when it was 26 sen. Now, Prestariang is 42 sen....

His argument was there would be no compensation from the govt for the termination of the SKIN project and plenty of unwanted shares can be collected at 10 sen.

Where are Paloma and the naysayers? All busy chasing high at the whim and fancy of the mkt operators?

Mkt operators are just too happy to oblige too.....haha......

The reason for the spike is not known. To me, this appears more like a stockist's play...

Dow was down 600+ points. But a few penny stocks like Damansara Resources, Iskandar Wcity, etc are up sharply on stockists' play. Even Hua An is up too. I cannot sapu more at 10 sen. No trigger for any buy/sell action....

Only blue chips are more susceptible to Dow's sharp fall. Even so, asian mkts have been relatively resilient nowadays...

Wow, contrary to some naysayers, Hua An survives the brutality of the US mkts, closing at 15 sen on the last trading day of 2018.

In fact, as I had predicted, the mini bull has started right after my posting, as evidenced in the strong rebounds of some speculatives like Prestariang, My Eg Services, VS Industry, etc. Those who have taken heed of my advice are already smiling to the bank, while some of those who have heeded the sell calls of the naysayers have already landed flat in Holland..

There are quite a no of Bursa stocks currently selling at bargain prices. U can pick some good ones to invest on a longer term basis.

U need not have to buy this counter. For me, it is purely to carry out my trade plan on a follow-through basis.

A lot will depend on the final outcome of the US-China trade talk and US rate hikes prospects. The mkts are pricing in a worst-case(bear mkt) scenario. If things get better, then a re-rating on stock prices will follow.

Even Maybank forecasts a growth in 2019. But stock prices have dropped as if there is a severe recession coming?

And it is damned hard for the share price to go up above 30 sen near term(if your purchae price is high) as more pp have built up buy positions along the way and mkt operator will not push up high enough for u to sell above 30 sen.

Today, HK mkt(including most asian mkts) is down 400+ points as China's economic data missed expectations.

So, Hua An's drop is explainable. i am not surprised. Anyway, this is part of the mkt's volatility, until a clearer macro picture emerges.

Looks like value investors are in. More will depend on the final outcome of the US-China trade talk and the US rate hikes prospects, which I have highlighted earlier.
