Big shareholders can make $ through “sell high first, buy low later” strategy..in this bad market sentiment the price easily go lower and lower and most of the retailers will fall into trap “buy high and finally sell low”. The big shareholders finally “ cash-out” big sum of $ and still control the company or can increase the shareholding without paying more..example; sell 18sen buy back til 16-17 sen (buy big vol to attract retailers who think the price will move higher), when retailers jump in, sell from 17-16sen until 14sen, buy big vol till 14.5 sen and retailers jump in and hope will move higher and sell again until 12 sen, buy in big vol til 13 sen..can repeat buy until 14sen maybe then sell until 10 sen.. the PA and WA can be sold with huge vol at around 4.5-5.5 sen and by the time mother only 8-10 sen, they can buy back half the price and profit millions of dollars.. this may not be true, only my observation and opinion

After this quarter result announced, I can speculate that they probably want to privatize this company. Don’t forget that it has more than RM80 mil cash in bank which is about two third of the market cap. By taking private, they can also access the cash and not much extra money they actually need to come out. They can actually sell it again to investors at a price which is few times higher or relisting in Bursa after few years’ time. This is very common in Malaysia.

Normally people prefer exercise (rights) with free warrant
OR if purchase @0.05 + exercise price 0.15 = 0.20 (cost), got 1 free warrant
If listing price VC =0.165, probably warrant can sell 5-7 sen (total 0.165+0.06=0.225, 0.165+0.07=0.235, still got profit

Just do some reasoning..with below RM700 per acre land cost and gone through good palm oil prices for more than10 years, still accumulate debts over RM1b, do you think this company can survive in the challenging next 10 years ? During TM previous tenure as PM, he developed Langkawii, set up Perwaja Steel mill (failed) and built Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in Kedah. He spent billions of money to grow Kedah’s economy.
