Impairment loss is tax deductable? From taxation rule, it is not a real loss and you have to add back to calculate how much real profit you have make and pay tax right? Any sifu here can advise?

Sometime i prefer to read cashflow statement to see how much real CASH profit Genm make. Income statement is very manipulative by accountants and auditors who love to make life complicated!

Genm remind of Air Asia back in year 2015 when price dropped below 1.0. Everyone say run but today? As long as Genm is generating profit, I think is worth to invest long term. What ever they have invested in themepark is consider sunk cost, if you evaluate based on cash generating position rather than profit/loss which is distort by stupid accounting treatments. If u know what i mean.

QR continue to maintain profitable with consistent good track record. I really wonder why volume so high recently and 1st time listed in top 20 active stock since two weeks ago, hope the second wave is coming soon. I always believe this counter is a hidden gem!!!

Seriously, im sure genting already know their themepark issue but they keep silent. Knowing their share price slumped due to news of tax hike, now only they announce to sue Disney to further press down share price. On top of that, this stupid Public Bank (where Genting as their big client) come out with a nonsense TP of 2.70.

All this seem like a deliberate plan to buy low and subsequently with a good QR or positive news on themepark, then they sell high.

Like we all say, bursa is for big shark. Ikan bilis like us just have to be patient and think logical to avoid any psychology trap planned by big shark.

My101home, ya the big player try to press down the price so we will panic selling to those Islamic fund at cheaper price. All we can do is hold tight or sell some to take profit first if you worry.
