Occidental CEO talk about oil price, the important of carbon capture and future of fossil fuel. Carbon capture really work and very Nation should hv at lease 2 carbon capture plant to regulate co2 in air. If this really happens then fossil will remain more longer and EV not going to survive longer.

As for now I think energy stock is preferable as crude oil might elevated higher due geopolitical factor.

Brent hit usd90. Seems usd100 is possible. Currently velesto received usd 90k for DCR (according to 2nd qtr report). With high crude oil price, I strongly believed they can get usd95k to 105k for rigs service...chances is very high. DCR high = profit high.

Actually they can show higher profit if they want. Seems Vele management keen to pay debt first rather than showing profit. In another words, good also bcoz interest payment for debt alone cost them lot. I think if they really want to show profit they can easily contra in debt, 20 to 30mil profit sup sup.

Revenue high compared with profit. I think they even receive good value price for the DC rate (usd100k above).

Very busy time for velesto as Q3 this year they hv to deploy their rigs for another Petronas contract (worth usd128mil)...regret Naga 7 no more available 😀. Drill baby drill

Possibility is there for Vele to earn net profit above 20mil. If 30mil + consider very good. I strongly believed contract from Hess carigali will give positive earning. The contract from Hess worth 630mil ( usd 135mil) and already commenced on Q4 2022 last year. And, with support of this two short terms contract which commence 1Q 2023 from ROC sarawak and PTTEP worth another RM125mil...yeah possibility is there. Hope earning from above contract visible in upcoming qtr (I didn't include in the GAIT contract). Monday everything will come to clear picture..

Sabar2 qtr report on Monday maybe, I'm sure going to be excellent qtr. Think good say good everything will be good.
