Very interesting if you read this latest investor presentation - They have added 10 million barrels of 2P/2C for the Norway -PL 338C ( that is net 10.5 million barrels to Hibiscus) see page 14 of presentation..............................

So currently - NET 2P/2C oil is 25 million barrels.................................

Nice to see them building up their oil base and not producing yet just building it up.................

Healthy volume for Hibiscus today - over 500,000 - net buying and close 90 cents. Tomorrow buying momentum to continue....................

This is definitely a very good sign as evident of today high volume during midday trade...............

It already broke 90 cents with ease, next resistance RM1................

Hibiscus as a company is doing a SHARE BUY BACK. This could only mean they perceived their share price is TOO LOW at the moment due to depressed oil price as they have no real operating cost yet.

Furthermore - it is reported that the MD - Dr. Kenneth is purchasing this shares on behalf of the company. Naturally - this is good development.

OR do they have something big and positive to announce? Its been a while since we heard from Hibiscus and believe something is brewing. And when it does, this counter is likely to zoom up as it is very TIGHTLY controlled by very loyal few.

EITHER way it is obviously good news indeed.................

This is for drilling on more production - the drilling cost is very low at KITAN and HIBISCUS bought 25% stake for US$18 million for and now has 2,500 production per day.

If it goes up after the drilling - KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM..............................

Time to go in aggressively again. Jack Bates is still drilling in KITAN and is expected to complete end of this month which is only FEW MORE DAYS! Hibiscus has not made any announcements yet. They must be keeping this as a big surprise.........................

The information I gathered Hibiscus has gained all approvals from Australia government, now only waiting approval from Timor Leste.

Anyway - they quarter report for Q3 usually comes out typically 2 months delay so I assume by November when they do release the Q3 reports, this approval should have been obtained............

I am noticing today also force-selling in the stock - it will take a bit of time for margin calls to be done and over with before the dust settles..............

Worth a read their website - very informative.....................

Veblen - in market scenarios like now - if the volume is small and the drop is drastic - the reversal is typically the same. I just looked at the pattern and it is confirmed a force selling mode............

Ok - Again this based strictly on what Hibiscus management has provided in their website:

If you take the current total shareholding of 892 million shares,

+ Reserves 100 million
+ 15-20% margin
+ Price of Oil - USD84 / barrel

You will get the price per share at RM4.50 to 6.30 share. This is again based on Hibiscus stating they will have 100 million reserves then.

We know now they have:
+ 8 million reserves in Australia
+4.25 million reserves in Kitan
+ Oman we not sure but rumor is this is very very big - but nobody is talking

If we assume in OMAN they have 20 million barrels (this is just an assumption ok - no basis whatsoever) - so currently they already have 22 million barrels of oil.

So if Hibiscus is saying they can make 100 million reserves by 2016 which is less that 15 months from now, then you have to decide whether you believe what they say or otherwise.

DO YOU TRUST THE MANAGEMENT OF HIBISCUS OR NOT. Simple as that.

IF they do achieve 100 million barrels, then WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!

Up to now - they have nothing to show for. However, this will quickly change with their latest AUDITED account which will show them making good profits as a result of their success in securing the KITAN production of 2,500 per day which is captured from January 1, 2014. So the next quarterly report you will definitely see very positive reporting from them and they will become a producing company.........

As far as how the price will react , your guess is as good as mine.......................

My question is simple - If you have faith in the management of the company and you believe they will deliver what they have promised then you have nothing to worry about and can treat this as knee jerk reaction as volume traded today is merely 0.6% of the share capital of Hibiscus. So none of the big holders sold................

And if you believe in the Management to deliver, they have committed that they will have 100 million barrels of oil reserves by 2016 with 10,000 barrels production per day.

What is that in value of share price?
