After RM2,700 breached, next target RM2,800.

Already closed RM2,687 per tonne on November 20. Hit intraday peak RM2,699 that morning.

So, RM2,700 is just a piece of cake now. Just a matter of time.

Walk you guys back again to my post of October 31, posting time 2:14 am.

My forecasts in that post:

RM3,000 per tonne mark to fall by December 1. Or November 30, if you like it that way.

If broken decisively, then RM3,500 per tonne mark to fall by Christmas Eve.

Might look like kind of a bit of a challenge right now, but let's just see how it goes.

Price up for 3rd straight session. Closed Friday at RM2,687 per tonne. Just another RM13 to breach RM2,700.

You see. Even MPOB is agreeing with my price forecast now.

But only, I have been bold enough to venture a time frame. While MPOB has not.

Guys. Let me walk you all back to my post of October 31, posting time 12:14 am.

My forecast in that post:

RM3,000 per tonne mark going to fall by December 1. Okay, November 30, if you prefer it that way.

If RM3,000 broken decisively, then RM3,500 mark to be breached by Christmas Eve.

Well, at the rate that things are going, looks like we're quite well on course.

So,I'll just say it again then.

RM3,000 per tonne to be breached by December 1.

RM3,500 per tonne to be breached by Christmas Eve.

I don't care what Maybank, CIMB Bank, Public Bank or even Dorab Mistry, says. They can all keep their over-conservative forecasts to themselves, for all they're worth. I shall stick to mine.

Why do guys hv to keep comparing Msia with Singapore. This is like comparing apples & oranges. Maybe they reckon that, doing that shows how clever they are.

Nope. Quite on the contrary, that just shows it all, about how naive & how stupid they really are.

Malaysia is a sprawling country of land surface area 343,000+ square km. With jungles, hills, mountains, rivers, lakes & all. With a population of 30 mil.

Singapore is a tiny island city state 38 km long & 24 km wide. It is a completely different kettle of fish altogether.

Why not they go ahead further & compare Singapore with Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam & Cambodia also.

Now, since we still have two months to year end, I am now revising my earlier predictions.

I am saying now, that the RM3,000 mark is going to fall by December 1.

And if that happens decisively, do not be surprised if you see a gallop to RM3,500 by Christmas Eve.

Yep. You heard me.

Now, I did say on Friday, October 25, in my post of time 2.42 pm, that price was going to breach RM2,400 soon.

I did not expect it to happen so fast, actually. Well, now it has.

Just whiskers away from RM2,500 now, people.

And your English is really bad, too. It's simply appalling. Absolutely atrocious.

You ought to get another better English teacher to iron out your grammatical inadequacies, perhaps. Or maybe it's not his/her fault at all, but yours & yours alone.

GeraldT9, kiddo. You have not even made an attempt to offer an answer to the simple question that I have posed to you.

All you have been doing is indulging in your usual mindless kiddy ravings, cursings & rantings.

So, what is the problem, kiddo.

Quite frankly, I am quite inclined to believe that RM2,600 per tonne for April is a rather conservative estimate. Seeing that even yesterday's peak of RM2,383 was only whiskers away of breaching the RM2,400 level already.

Starting with that dude who slept in parliament and then bluffed that he 'sakit mata', once alleged that scorpene submarine 'could not dive', alleged that bn govt 'rompak' gst refund funds, bought a bungalow at jalan pinhorn in penang at half of market price as 'incentive', got paid darn big under-the-table coffee money for mega projects in Penang etc. etc. etc.

diesel current price = RM2.18/litre

diesel density = 0.832 kg/litre

so, diesel price = RM2.62/kg = RM2,600/tonne

but palm oil current price = RM2,359/tonne

and that is only today's peak price, not average long term price

Anything wrong with my calculations? Mr. WilliamTKB, please comment.

Try asking Indonesian government. They're already moving toward B100 biodiesel, i. e. 100% palm oil fuel.

We are the one lagging way, way behind them in this regard.

To be honest, I still do not know the exact production cost or break-even price. I forgot to ask the last time I called up their office. Maybe next time.

But I believe selling price has a good chance of climbing to or even breaching RM3,000 by end of next year.
