I am interested to see HS profitability in coming quarters, especially after its nitrile latex plant starts run. I dun hv a single share of HS now.

Honestly I original thought HS is pure goreng stock, but just now found that HS total number of shares are huge, if said is pure goreng also hard to sustain the bubbles, unless these bubbles are supported by some real profiting business and promising prospect.

Will keep my eyes watch this HS.

Found that Hongseng latest qr profit more than D&O, and this tally to higher market cap of Hongseng than D&O.

Looking at this falling knife trend I feel lucky that decided cut loss 2 days ago @ 2.02, my cost is 2.82 bought 3 months ago. Why EPF ceased to be Myeg substantial shareholder? In fact recently they are keep disposing alot others shareholding only a few co they increased shareholding. I am curious how is the strategy of EPF, or is it traditionally EPF will dispose shares before Dec of every year, to reserve some cash for window dressing? Actually quite irritating when saw EPF keep disposed.

Juliana My opinion is contrary with u that Mr Wong may be dunno the MCMC & gov decision at 1st place of Apr.
Looked back the record, Mr Wong starts aggresively bought back the shares on May till Sept with total of net buying position in this period.

If he knows such development with gov hv plan to exclude Myeg from the picture, then he won't proceed bonus issue.
Timeline of incidents:
16/3 - announced proposal of bonus issue
22/4 - decision of super app (info from MCMC)
3/6 - EGM to approve bonus issue & diversification
1/7 - AGM

From all facts above, I will choose to wait Myeg's clarification regarding to MCMC announcement dated 17/9. I will choose to hold and wait Myeg announcement.

I did a lot of study and went through few rounds hesitation b4 decided purchase Myeg shares.
I choose to trust Mr Wong at this moment. The worst case is I lost my significant portion of modal in Myeg, but if what I interpreted is correct, then Myeg could be the best bid in my portfolio.

I can clearly see Mr Wong is a determined boss.
But if he aim to include Myeg as one of KLCI members, then he should manage to at least double up current profits with increasing number of shares, as well as manage good relationship with gov (recently lost a few bids), otherwise Myeg is hard to compete with other technology stocks with manufacturing activities as core operation.

Malaysia gov funds (EPF, KWAP, Lembaga Tabung Haji) holds around 14.2% of total Myeg shares equivalent to capital RM 900mil+, if Myeg really cannot sustain its business, let's see how the people's wealth being evaporate result from Myeg share price drop. I just a small shareholder, well.

I guess this latest development may involve competition between 2 parties

In short, i don't think this new apps hv much relations to Myeg. If there is relation, why Myeg didn't clarify/follow up with announcement??

In news stated "The MCMC in a statement today said the government through the National Council of Digital Economy and Fourth Industrial Revolution (MED4IR) on April 22 approved in principle a proposal to implement the platform."

Means this MCMC approach should be aware by Myeg internally already on end Apr, although the news not widespread publicly on Apr.

I looked again price trend Myeg, it was experienced 21.6% drop in 3.5 months, 99.5 sen to 78 sen, from 22 Apr to 8 Aug.
Then the price started rebound on near end Aug when Muhyiddin been forced to step down.

Since in last quarter report Myeg stated MySafeTravel & MySafeQuarantine got contributed on top & bottom line.
Thus now with presence of Nexgram's SafeTravelPass does it mean that it will replace Myeg's MySafeTravel?

Myeg fails in recent bids on a few gov projects, which makes me worry on its prospect

My opinion why counters below hike higher % compared to Hiap Teck.

• Choo Bee today's winning factors possibly result from its Zero debt, coupled with 337% higher EPS in latest quarter, better dividend, lower P/B. And most important is it have similar profit margin as Hiaptek but with much better EPS.

• Leon Fuat latest quarter has 143% better EPS with better dividend, although it has high debt and smaller scale than Hiap Tek.

• Ann Joo if just look on its overall PE is terrible & not attractive, but if look deeper on its latest single quarter result, Ann Joo has 75% better revenue, 11.7% better PAT with 184% higher EPS, although it has lower profit margin & high debt. Also it is more well known representative in steel stocks if compare Hiap Teck.

Seems like if want increase chance to win big, can use strategy 渔翁撒网 aim the 1st five most profitable steel stocks. Haha but i dun hv enough money.

I am curious, why today's Choo Bee & Ann Joo increase % higher than Hiap Tek who has better latest quarter result compared to previous 2 companies? Also in term of price per unit Hiap Tek is much lower just cents level, which i think supposing is more attractive to short term traders?

Hi Michael, target 80 cents wouldn't too optimistic which is potential 43% increase from current price? This counter slower than snail, i top up few times and hold for half year d now cost 64 cents, this counter keep consuming my patience
