cannot annouce discountinue & continue new contrac at same time as contract only expire Jan/2021. MS & PSSB in midst of finalizing new contract but cannot announce as will conflict with existing contract & also today is AGM.. need to announce this 1st before AGM kickoff.

Orlando, Gov n Presbhd alr had few rounds of nego but gov only offer 100m compensation which is not acceptable. Then gov just keep delaying on final decision which presbhd have no more patient. Presbhd also have contract with suppliers which they also have to make payment to. Those supplier will also take legal if presbhd not able to pay.. that is why presbhd have to take this final step to pressure gov to move forward.

Actually gov not forking out a single cent as this is concession project. Prestariang fund the entire project until fully roll out (roughly 2 years built). After roll out then Prestariang & Gov will take profit from the Immigration transactions (13years concession). Win Win for both but i think gov thinking the splitting not enuf for them.

info not from bloomberg... contract indeed stated 100m/year but off coz government always have tricks to exit/avoid such huge compensation. Prestariang will not accept lower than 500m as huge investment already spend by them to buy technologies, human resources & bank loan interest.

1.3b compensation is calc as stated in contract if terminated. 100m per year x 13 years concession period = 1.3b
