Many glove companies in Malaysia esp the top 4 show so much resilient over the years & make owners & Investors happy... from my understanding, the report only says dexamethasone reduces rate of mortality for severe patients...but doesn't say eliminate Covid19...so still gloves & ppe are essential in hospitals & everywhere else..

perhaps need to refer to microbiologist or health expert that covid19 will disappear without vaccine. glove/ppe/SOP help minimize infection/reinfection but cannot eliminating the virus....my 2sen worth of opinion ...

Vaccine will push up gloves demand in short to medium term... current SOP worldwide require wearing PPE and gloves to administer vaccines...
the only Risk is virus disappearing by itself without vaccine... then everyone can dump gloves...

imho Not yet. still long way to go...gloves & PPE are still needed to handle patients & prevent infection of health workers & reinfection to the masses & to the public...read the article properly.
