The main reason why DAP(Tony Pua) told the government to stop appointing KPMG as the auditor of companies related to the Malaysian government is because KPMG have failed to flag suspicious transactions in 1MDB's book, thus jeopardizing taxpayers' money.

In SD's case, KPMG did the opposite of what they didn't do when they audited 1MDB, which is flagging suspicious transactions and figures. Maybe they were seeking for a redemption of some sort, I'm not sure.

Anyways, we're just one working day away from knowing the truth. Maybe SD is right, maybe KPMG is right or maybe both are wrong LOL! It all depends on the much awaited SIR.
